Import Users from AD - Set UserType?

I followed this document http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-4369 and was able to get my connection created and my test mapping was successful from my AD object to the System User object, but the UserType is coming back as a "MANDATORY" field.  How do I set a value for "User Type".  I checked the Default Values but you can't set User Type there.
