Hello,
I asked this question earlier. It was determined that the Background service calls Java for an app called Tika for the knowledge base. That was great information.
My new questions are these: from that post it seemed like only the main application server (the one running the services) is what needs to have Java installed, and then the web servers do NOT need Java installed. Can this be confirmed?
The other, and perhaps more important question, can Java be kept up to date on the servers or is there a specific version that needs to be ran?
Thank you!
