I have three Microsoft patches that show they are needed on a computer: 982018_WIN2008_WIN7, 2578214_VISTA_WIN2008_WIN7 and 2618301_WN2008_WIN7
Applied these via LANDesk. Success.
The next day I saw they were required again. Applied them via LANDesk. Failed. Code 412.
Rebooted the machine. Ran a scan. They are still needed. Applied them again via LANDesk. Failed. Code 412
I remoted to the machine and tried to manually apply each patch. It tries and then comes back and says the patch/hotfix has already been installed.
I opened a command prompt and went to c:\program files(x86)\LANDesk\LDClient
I ran the vulscan /clear command.
I ran the vulscan /reset command
The patches disappear from the Patch and Compliance pane. (Yay!)
I run a scan on the computer.
The patches reappear in Patch and Compliance (Boo!)
I have repeated this entire process twice with the same results.
What can I do next?
