After upgrading to 9.5 today, I ran an Unmanaged Computers scan targeted directly to my desktop IP. It found the machine but did not add so nothing shows up in the gui to drop and drag to the Add Agent task I have created. (my desktop is a Windows 8 Pro computer).
I then created a standalone agent installer and ran that on my machine. It added the various icons however nothing showed up in the LD Console. I manually ran the Inventory Scanner and received the missing loc32vc0.dll message. I followed the instructions in the KB article about this, adding the COPYALWAYS line to the config file. (note that no other copy of this file exists on my machine) I re-ran the standalone installer with no luck. I remade the installers just in case. Still no luck.
I don't want to just add the dll by hand everywhere as we roll out W8. Ideas?
