Description field loses contents when enduser modifies change

Hi all,

I have a scenario where an enduser is able to authorise a change. Normal action with a window.

However when he executes the action the main change description loses its contents and stays empty.

Note: The Change window the end user is seeing has a protection level of "Read Only" on the description field.

Has anyone encountered similar behaviour?
