We have the local network of our sites which is completely saturated following the deployment of the agent IVANTI version 2017.3 SU2.
If we shut down the process tmcsvc.exe on every pc of the site. the network is functioning normally.
there is a lot of muticast requests on the local network when this process runs and causes disturbances on our IP phones and on our PLCs.

We have set up Goldmine web to be accessed from outside the firewall. However it has been set up for access via port 80. Is this safe?
Is there a way we can use SSL or another port number on the server?
Unable to access related object attribute with CurrentUserRole function
A boolean called “ShowAdditionalFields” has been added to the Role object and window.
For certain roles I have this option set to true.
The purpose of this checkbox is to show additional fields on the Incident window for users in roles that have “ShowAdditionalFields” set to true.
I do realize I can hardcode hidden expressions to specific role names but wanted to avoid doing this for easy of management of these roles going forward.
I wanted to know if anyone out there could tell me if it is possible to traverse to a different data level using the CurrentUserRole function.
Example expression: $([CurrentUserRole#.]ShowAdditionalFields != true)

We currently are using Application Personalization for Firefox personalization - Personalizing FireFox - which grabs {CSIDL_APPDATA}\Mozilla. It works like a champ. We have a requirement to keep Firefox up-to-date and we have deployed the Mozilla Maintenance Service (Workstations only) to perform this automatically without prompting users. From what I've found this service looks for {CSIDL_APPDATA}\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles.ini in the real file system rather honoring the AppSenseVirtual location. If I exclude this file to make this work, it looks like it'll create a new profile folder on the end point. This can cause DB bloat and lost info since it will include a new profile path: {CSIDL_APPDATA}\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles\<randomID>.default
Since this is on physical endpoints only, I think I'll do a sync-down for the app group at desktop created via Export-EMPManagedAppData -App "$group". When they run Firefox, it should update/upgrade as needed and sync any changes back to the app group. This will continue to allow them to roam settings to Citrix.
The other option may be to set use a WSG (or hybrid WSG and App group) but I'd much rather steer clear of this if possible.
If anyone has already done the heavy lifting on this, I'm interested to see how you solved it. Thoughts/suggestions?

What are the various processes (EXES) that would run if I were running tasks in LANDesk on a machine?
So for instance, software pushes use SDCLIENT.EXE, patching uses VULSCAN, Inventory Scan uses LDISCN32.exe? What are other ones? Provisioning? Script pushes (not software distribution packages)? Etc.?

Nachdem sie dann das OS zugewiesen bekommen startet WinPE und bricht dann aber ab
Fehlermeldung 35 netadd error.
Ich habe alle relevanten Pakete überprüft. Diese sind auf dem MP vorhanden.
Die Zeit passt auch (Fehlermeldung ist wsl irreführend)
Wie soll ich weiter vorgehen?

I am tying to install BIOS updates for the Spectre/Meltdown vulnerabilities, and so far the console says the client is processing the request but in reality the client is just sitting idle and not processing anything.
I've built Distribution packages using the extracted EXE from the Patch supplied by HP and all I get is dead air.
Has anyone else deployed BIOS Patches? Any suggestions?

I have seen references in some places about being able to publish provisioning templates in the portal. But no matter what I do, I am unable to get it to show up in my portal.
The default Portal Manager deployment doesn't include any launchpad items. Use software distribution to add items to Portal Manager.

This is what I ended up doing, though it did not work.
I created the os provisioning template and added actions. In Distribution Packages I made a new universal package | Provisioning. I included the template I had created before. I created scheduled task, went into the task, associated it to my workstation, set it to policy push, kicked it off. It shows as active in the progress window but nothing ever shows up in the Portal, even after I refresh it. I can add and remove typical distribution packages and it is reflected in the Portal window, so I know I can get some things to work.
I looked around and have yet to find documentation showing how to do this. Anyone know where such documentation would be?

I'm trying to personalize SAP GUI 7.50. I've tried this template SAP GUI 7 Personalization Template
and I also tried to create a Application group by my self through data collection. But unfortunately I'm unable to change the SAP GUI theme.
It looks for me that the application tries to get the setting from the local registry.
Did anyone else have the same experience?

I have made a change to the Distribution and Patch Settings. We use global distribution and Patch Settings between Windows and Mac computers. Will the Mac pick up the change to Distribution and Patch settings? In particular, the distro and patch settings I changed was to enable the Blocking applications. I've written a custom definition to block the installation of High Sierra on all Mac's.

I do have a Support Call open for this. However I would like to see if others are seeing the same results.
We have upgraded LES to Ivanti DC 5.1.1 (Update 1) and this works as expected on all OS's except for Windows 10 1709 - Fall Update. LES 4.6SR2 works as expected on Windows 10 1709 but 5.1.1 does not. USB Pen Drives appear to be split into both Removable Storage and Portable Devices and the user account that shows the READ_DENIED events is UMFD-0 or UMFD-1 which is from the FontDriverHost process?? It has a SID for the account but it is not possible to create rules for these accounts?
The UMFD accounts are also prominent in Windows 10 1703, so we are unsure why this issue is only occurring in 1709. Can anyone else replicate this?

With the old dBase version, one can use dobindays() function to build a filter but that no longer work with PE.

Hello, I would like to have the SMTP Alerting for when a UWM Admin modifies, or creates a new Package within the UWM Management Console. For example one of the UWM Admins updates a Environment Manager Configuration (Package) and also if that Package is applied to a Deployment Group.
The Default Rule "Package created, modified or deleted" does not appear to generate an alert when I have updated a EM Configuration and submitted it to a Deployment Group. That rule is looking for EventID 9702, however I don't see that on the Management Server or the Client with the EM Console and UWM Management Console.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

When our analyst users access the workspaces interface to log an incident for themselves (ie: where they are the raise user), they are presented with the full 'analyst' version of the incident form, rather than the shortened 'mobile friendly' form that we designed for end users. Is it possible to create a link to the 'end user' form on the Workspaces navigation menu (as below) or as a tile?

Guys, I got stucked with our Win 10 Deployment. The Office 2016 distribution package doesn´t continue within the Win 10 Provision template. It doesn´t abort, it downloads all the files and holds on. It stays till I kill the provisioning task. The software package as a standalone task works.
Anyone with similar experience or even a solution?
I attached some of the logfiles, the office 2016 package ID is 374.
I am trying to produce an Xtraction dashboard component that displays the total number of open incidents in Servicedesk 2017.3 at intervals of time, but can only seem to find a way to display records that have been opened / resolved / closed / interacted with. Can anyone help?
