Clients not reporting to the console

Hi,

 

we have a number of clients (200+ of 6000 total) that have the "Last reported settings" 1 month or more old despite the fact that the clients are online.

Vulnerability scans fails on this clients because C:\ProgramData\vulscan\AgentBehavior_XXX.xml does not exist.

Office 2019 On Premise Installation

Hallo Zusammen,

 

hab heute von meinem Chef aufgetragen bekommen, mit mit der Office 2019 Bereitstellung auseinander zusetzen. Dazu gibt es auch diverse Microsoft Artikel. Nur irgendwie bin ich etwas verwirrt. In unserem Volume Lizenz Center kann ich ISO's für 2019 herunterladen "SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_64Bit_English_-5_OfficeOnlineSvr_MLF_X21-63786.ISO". Diese haben auch nach dem entpacken die Möglichkeit die setup.exe mit /admin wie bei 2010 / 2013 / 2016 auszuführen, dabei erhalte ich aber eine Fehlermeldung:

Also hab ich mir das Customization Tool besorgt. Eine config.xml gebaut, die mir erstmal die Sourcen laden soll:

Wenn ich das Ganze dann mit setup.exe /download config.xml downloade ist der Ordner lächerlich klein.

 

Habt Ihr euch schon mit der Bereitstellung des neuen Office 2019 beschäftigt und habt ggf. schon mehr Fortschritte gemacht als ich?

Powershell Command execution not function in Client machines via DSM Shop and Auto-install in Windows 10

Dear All,

 

We recently migrated the DSM Server from 2016.2 to 2018.1. (This environment mainly used for Win 10 Testing)

In the package, Powershell command executions are not getting installed for client machines in both cases DSM Shop and Auto-Install.

 

But when we try to install Local option, its get installed properly.

 

Example Code:

%WINSYSDIR%\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -windowstyle hidden -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File ".\Extern$\invoke_Test.ps1"

 

Powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "c:\temp\Win10.ps1"

 

Do we need to do any adjustments in the settings?

 

Could you please share your comments to solve this issue?

Copy attachments when converting service request to incident

We have a quick action that converts a Service Request to Incident.  I've noticed that any attachments in the Service Request are not being copied across to the newly created Incident.

 

I've tried to compare this quick action to one that is working, i.e. attachments are being copied across.

 

Can someone please assist me and advise me where in the quick action this is.  The only thing I could find that MIGHT be the command to copy the attachments across is below, but I could be wrong here.

TC70x - TE: Disable Pinch and Zoom not working

Hi all,

 

we are using a TC70x with Android 7.1.2, Velocity Android ARM 2.0.4 is installed.

 

We noticed that the Navigation option "Disable Pinch and Zoom" is not working.

 

Our configuration:

TE host profile

Default native mode is activated!

Disable Pinch and Zoom is activated!

Enable Fixed Screen Mode is activated!

User double taps -> Zoom out!

 

Is this a bug or has anybody the same issue?

Issues with Office online Featured Templates not populating.

We've recently deployed a GPO to enable Office Online.  We have about 77 users that are standard users with iVanti Application Control installed (v10.1), we have had reports of Office applications going "Not Responding" which results in the application crashing.

What we have noticed is that the Office Online Featured templates do not populate and we have to sign these users out, then back in to resolve the issue.

 

Seeing this is affecting no one else (8000 + users) but these standard users with Application Control installed, it's more than likely an issue with Application Control... Has anyone experienced issue like this?

Printers not mapping, sometimes.

Hello Ivanti Community,

 

We have an issue where "sometimes" people do not get their printers when logging onto our Citrix 7.6 environment. They are removed at log off and re-added at logon. Printers aren't hidden or secured by anything.

We cannot exactly pin-point when or how it starts and we cannot find any relevant logging. It does happen however.

 

We also have been able to confirm it happens when they log off and on again, several times in a row, also sometimes.

Only when we log the users off via RDP it works again. Which makes no sense to us.

 

Also when i go to the printer servers via Windows Explorer the printers list like expected. Only when you right click and press connect you get a message saying the driver won't install. It does do this with out old (hidden) backup print server.

 

I know i am being a bit vague but this is all we have been able to figure out. Does anyone have any idea where in ivanti i can turn on some logging?

Or do i need to provide some extra details for trouble shooting? I hope you guys can help me figure this out because our team is really puzzeled. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

Disappearing Records

We've had two contact records just disappear from our database in the last three weeks.  I assumed the first one was a fluke....but now I am sure something is going on.  I believe once a record is gone, it's gone...but I have to ask....there's no "recycle bin" hidden somewhere in Goldmine, is there?  Or an easy way to view records that once were in the system without having to backup everything?

Hallo,

 

kann mir jemand sagen, mit welchen Parametern die Patch-Installation aufgerufen wird. Diese sind ja von Hersteller zu Hersteller unterschiedlich. In den Logs ist mir nichts aufgefallen, mit welchen Parametern die Installation durchgeführt wird.

Ein kleines Beispiel ist die Software PDF Creator. Nach der Installation des Updates werden keine Verknüpfungen mehr angezeigt. Damit ich nicht für alle Produkte eigene Vorlagen erstellen muss,

würde ich gerne die Installation der Software und die Installation der Updates anpassen. Dazu muss ich aber wissen, mit welchen Parametern welches Produkte installiert wird.

Hallo,

 

wie muss ich eigentlich die xml File anpassen, dass ich office mit APM patchen kann?

 

Ich hatte die xml File ursprünglich mit "Updates Enabled="FALSE" Channel="Monthly" erstellt, jedoch patcht APM nicht, bzw. der Patch läuft immer auf Fehler. "Schwerwiegender Fehler bei der Installation. (0x0000643)

 

Die Updateoptionen sind standardmäßig deaktiviert. Mein Gedanke ist, dass nicht jeder Client die Updates von MS sich holt. (Bandbreite usw.). Wenn ich mir aber das Patchpaket anschaue, ist es wohl so, dass APM sozusagen keinen Offline Patch hat. Dieser zieht wohl auch nur die Daten dann von MS. Sehe ich das richtig?

 

Ich erstelle über das Office 365 ProPlus Install Toolkit entsprechend meine MSI.

All of our end users should have the EndUser role but some do not.  Is it possible to write a query to identify all of the end users who do not have this role.

Hello,

 

I'm looking for some ideas on how other people are using roles in their environment. Have you had any issues using team instead of role for any permissions? I understand something have to be published to a specific role, Dashboards, Layouts, etc.

 

Right now we probably have close to 30 or more roles in use, basically whenever a team was created a role was created as well. This has led to it being a real pain if we need to do object level permission or add/modify workspaces. My plan now was to make two new roles analyst & management and move everyone to these roles then remove the previous roles. Once this has been done, we can create new specific roles if we need but it should not be nearly as many roles as we have currently.

 

Any thoughts if this is a good/bad idea?

Can a folder be linked to the Links tab in Web as it does in Desktop?

GoldMine v2018.1.2.15547; GoldMine Web v2018.1.2.15548.

 

We are able to create a manual link, in the Links tab of GoldMine Desktop, pointing to a folder.  That's something that has been a cool trick since forever and is still possible in the current version.

 

However, neither we or our customer can access a folder in the Links tab when logged into GM Web.  The link us using the UNC path in Desktop, but when trying to launch it from GM Web, it takes us to a web page, with the GoldMine logo in the upper-left corner of the screen, that says: We are sorry. "Something has gone wrong.  The page you have requested cannot be found."

 

Anyone know what could be done for the folder to display?  Again, it works fine in Desktop.

Landesk 9.5 SP2 and Lenovo P71 Help

I have been trying unsuccessfully to deploy an image to a Lenovo P71 laptop that has an Intel I219-V NIC. I have tried every driver I can find. I also called into support and was told that I need to boot into UEFI mode instead of Legacy. I have tried that and keep getting a PXE-E99: Unexpected Network Error after receiving an IP address. In Legacy Mode I keep getting "Waiting for IP address". I am desperate to get this laptop imaged. Does anyone know the magical driver I will need to make this work with version 9.5 SP2? We will be getting a new server, but it is going to be a while. Thanks.

Receiving message when logging in to GoldMine after upgrade to 2018.1.HF-2 - GoldMIne:gmw.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Upgrade GoldMine to 2018.1.HF-2 for a client.  One workstation is having a issue logging in.  Received the following message:GoldMine Error message when Mark logs into GoldMine on his computer 8-30-18.png

I found one old program on his computer that had the OLEACC.dll file.  I removed the file from his computer but it didn't make a difference.  Try to uninstall GoldMine on the workstation and reinstall with no change.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Provisioning error - System Configuration

Hi folks,

 

Getting an internal status : -2147477501(see attached)

 

Not sure what this is trying to tell me. I can get the provisioning task to work on a system local to me, but my coworker in our site to the south(using the same template/task) gets a failure here.

 

Any ideas are appreciated. And if I need to provide more information, let me know.

Tickets Breaching Before Creation Date

I'm having an odd issue.  Occasionally, I'll come across a ticket where the breach date occurs beforethe ticket is actually created.

Here is an example:

 

Here is the Escalation Watch info:

The Escalation Info is correct, including a false BreachPassed.  But, the ticket itself shows an invalid breach.

 

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?
