I'm running 2016 SP3 (self electing subnet services)
1. Do you have to push a full agent with the PXE set to make a computer a PXE server or is there a easier way.
2. If you no longer want a computer to be chosen as a PXE server do you have to Uninstall the complete agent then install a agent without the PXE set?
We use Ivanti2017.3_SU5 - can we install on the Core .NET Framework 4.7.2
and will that be supported?
(We also have an Ivanti agent installed on the core ...)
At the time of installation (Ivanti2017.1 ...) no .NET Framwork 4.7.2 was allowed on the core.
Looking for some input on how people have this mixed environment running. Come across a client with Ivanti 2017 and Novell - the agents are deployed but things are not right.
Novell is going but its no where near completed so we have to run Ivanti in mixed.
We see an endpoint in the console and all the icons are showing ( binoculars, html5 and remote ) however we cannot remote control and if you ping the device from the core in a cmd window it does not respond to IP or name so no DNS.
My question is how are the icons showing? the CBA is loaded also. what could cause that behavior? i have never seen it but then its my first mixed environment only a fraction of the machines are on the Active Directory domain.
Also if i try and open real time inventory and monitoring on that same device i get prompted for creds by windows.
all this is from the core to the device.

We are now using EPM 2017.3 and are running on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB Desktops.
Our service desk team as saying that they used to be able to copy and paste from a remote desktop session to their own PC but it does not work now.
I can't see any differences in the Agents we push out and File trasfer is enabled in the remote control agent settings.
Is this a Windows 10 thing or does the agent in 2017.3 not allow copy and paste anymore?

And maybe even the low level battery warning message or some kind of configurable threshold for showing indicator?

Hi, I have just started using Zebra TC8000 with Velocity in our warehouse and we are seeing some issues with the RF gun getting into a endless loop when the operator try to wake up the device
when the gun is ldle under than 10 min and it also happened a few times during sign in. User has to exit Velocity and then activate the Velocity to sign back in and it work.
We do not seem to have this problem with the old Window CE RF gun .
Is there some reconnect setting or retry on loss setting that is on Velocity that we can try change or is this a hardware setting on the device ?

we got many locations with different time zones.
Using a variable (Type: Datetime) we are defining a local time. Example:: 29.09.2017 20:40:01
In our escript this times are shown as UTC. Example: 2017-09-29T18:40:09Z

We then reformate and localize these using VBS which gets very messy. But we need the time in the respective timezone it was set in as the variable is used to control the reboot of the computer.
Is there a way to do the localization and format in escript? Are there maybe some best practices to do so?

I have not seen much discussion about support for macOS 10.14 on the Ivanti community.
When will Ivanti support 10.14 and will it require a patch for 2017.3 or 2018.1?
Has anyone or has support released a mobileconfig payload that we can utilize with our MDM of choice to whitelist Ivanti Mac agent components for TCC on Mojave?
As of now, the only binary that has prompted is lddispatch. I'm assuming that there will be more as time progresses but if Ivanti has a definitive list of binaries and apps that need to be white listed would be really helpful.
If I can get a list of binaries and apps, I can utilize the PPPC utility built to share a payload that other can benefit from.

mittlerweile ist das "NiLogs-Verzeichnis" auf unserem DSM-Server auf fast 30GB gewachsen (\enteo\NiLogs\Distribution\), und täglich kommen ca. 500MB an neuen Log-files (JobQueue_NPC) hinzu. Hauptinformation in den Logfiles ist, dass alle files bereits aktuell sind ( ... is already up to date). Wir sind doch etwas über den schnellen Wachstum überrascht.

Ich stand auch schon im stillen Kämmerchen und habe mich geschämt, das habe ich hinter mir. Nun, aller Hoffnung entledigt wende ich mich an ein Forum, welches mir in der Vergangenheit stets interessantes und wissenswertes vermittelt hat, in der Hoffnung, dass sich hier ein Ansatz findet, der mir aus meiner Misere heraus hilft.

In einem Versuch die Pollingintervalle zu optimieren, habe ich deine Distribution scheinbar "abgeschaltet" Mag hier das falsche Wort sein, aber so stellt es sich dar.
Ich finde in meiner Infrastruktur eine Organisationseinheit mit diversen Sites. Diese Sites enthalten allesamt jeweils ein Depot und einen Managementpoint. Zwei Sites enthalten jeweils ein Repository, einmal das Haupt Repository, von wo aus auf die Sites Verteilt wird und ein weiteres in der Site, an der ich arbeite. Zweck ist es hier die F7-Installationen beim testen zu beschleunigen.
Ich habe an verschiedensten Stellen an den Pollingintervallen der Distribution herumgeschraubt und zeitweise war es tatsächlich so, dass die Distribution an bestimmten Sites schneller los lief und die Software dort schneller zur Verfügung stand (für die Zuweisung auf dortige Rechner).
Leider ist mein Optimierungswahn nach hinten losgegangen was mich zu der Frage führt, welche Werte für die Distribution angemessen sind und wo (Site / Depot) sie einzustellen sind.
Im speziellen geht es mir um die Intervalle für das Polling der Datenbank (ICDB), Repositorys, Paket-Vorbereitung und PaketDateien.
Es gibt wohl eine Hierarchie mit Vererbung und alle Werte außer bei einer Site sollen 0 sein.... Da bin ich dann ausgestiegen.

Has anyone out there had a problem where using Legeacy Rom bios setting works fine but UEFI bios settings do not even get the bootx64.wim pushed down?
I have tried 2 different computers. Took a computer that will boot using UEFI at another site but will not Pxe boot here using UEFI.
Tried different network jacks at different locations in case it was a switch or port.
Tried using 3 different designated PXE servers.
I have a case open but not seeming to get anywhere with support.
We are looking to automated software installs such that adding a user to an ad group installs software on their computer (not every computer they log into). Long story short, we decided to go with a template with the software install steps which all have 'if' statements around user ad group membership (thanks to some scripting). However, every time we run the template, it reinstalls the software whether its there or not. So my question:
Is there a way to make LD check to see if something is installed before executing a package? I would hate to script this for all packages.
Sorry for the noob question; I'm an SCCM guy and this stuff is all native functionality in that tool so I am assuming there is native functionality in this one????

hab heute von meinem Chef aufgetragen bekommen, mit mit der Office 2019 Bereitstellung auseinander zusetzen. Dazu gibt es auch diverse Microsoft Artikel. Nur irgendwie bin ich etwas verwirrt. In unserem Volume Lizenz Center kann ich ISO's für 2019 herunterladen "SW_DVD5_Office_Professional_Plus_64Bit_English_-5_OfficeOnlineSvr_MLF_X21-63786.ISO". Diese haben auch nach dem entpacken die Möglichkeit die setup.exe mit /admin wie bei 2010 / 2013 / 2016 auszuführen, dabei erhalte ich aber eine Fehlermeldung:

Habt Ihr euch schon mit der Bereitstellung des neuen Office 2019 beschäftigt und habt ggf. schon mehr Fortschritte gemacht als ich?

I need an hint for where to look for troubleshooting Bulk Action in Workspace.
I have a query which allows the use of Bulk Action; when I select some records and request to apply one action, let's say "Add note" on two Incidents, the request is received and registered without errors; a screen appears leading me to think the action is in progress:
but, it always remains at 0 completed, 0 failed. In the console I can view the scheduled action:
The Background service is started and I can't find any error in the event log; I have also enabled the diagnostic at the highest level in the ConfigurationCenter options, but in the log files I can't find anything related to the scheduled task being executed.
Any idea?
I never really used agent health in the past and have started looking into again today. Some things confuse me about it. It seems there are three pieces to it and I'm not fully understanding how they all connect. You have a bootstrap task, an agent setting (which isn't even part of agent config), and patch manager definitions (which are much smaller in number compared to the amount of repair items in the agent settings).
Do we really have to manually run a change settings against all agents to use agent health or does the default agent health setting come into play? I couldn't find evidence of this in the registry. Having to deploy an agent AND run a change settings task seems odd to me.
How do the agent health patch definitions relate to the actual agent settings?
What happens if you use one without the other?
Some of the definitions reference specific file versions. I just updated to SU5, but have not updated most agents yet. Would these definitions start replacing files on those updated agents?
What part is the bootstrap task working in conjunction with? It looks like it just kicks off a vulscan for type 3 which would lead me to believe it works with the definitions.
