Hello,
can anyone help with something that's always puzzled me about making certain design changes that aren't immediately visible to the analyst Console user.
We have 4 terminal servers, 2 web servers and an application server as part of our LANDesk architecture.
Last night I made some dashboard changes which involved changing the name of some queries and the names of count queries on these dashboards.
I did this directly on the application server then did an IIS reset and even dared to do another application pool recycle after the IIS restarted (not required I'm sure).
My changes were visible when I accesses Console on the application server BUT not via one of the Terninal servers.
I then slightly amended the same dashboard on the Terminal server, saved, restarted Console and the dasboard changes were ok.
This morning I decided to do a quick check on the terminal server (which may have been a different server due to load balancing) and it was displaying the old values on the dashboard again !!! - once again I had to change and save,
Can anyone tell me how I should ensure that any changes are picked up immediately and why it always appears to be dashboards that I have the problem with - I also made other changes (queries, reference lists etc) which are picked up right away.
Many thanks in advance,
Keiron,.
