I come across an error that I've been unable to find a solution to and hopeful for some advise.
I have successfully created the Connection to the Oracle DB under the Generic Data Source and I am trying to create the connection type from the table in the DB. When trying to save the connection type it is throwing an error message:
Database table {TABLE_NAME} is missing from external data source. Class types in an external database modules can only be created for existing tables.
I can select the table in the DB and I can select the attributes from the table and the primary key and Name attribute, it's only when trying to save that it throws the error and the connection type hasn't saved.
I've been searching for solutions and came accross a promising solution refering to connections based on view's. I tried re-creating as a table but got the same error. I also tried using one of the oracle standard tables to see if custom table/views were the issue but again get the same error.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
