Karspersky Patch B

Hi all,

 

last week Karspersky has released a new patch (called Patch B). After this auto-update (noone choosed to install this patch) clients become very slow, the AV Client console results not usable and the AV license on client results missing or not valid. My customers started to have issues on 7 February 2013.

The only workaround we have found is to stop "LANDesk Antivirus service" (starting Windows in safe mode). With this service off clients continue to download definitions and patch.

 

We have opened a case with LANDesk Support and they seem to have no idea about the issue, but I think (and I hope) that my customers are not the only ones with this problem in the world.

There is anyone that has other information (or better a solution) to the problem?

There is anyone that opened another case with LANDesk suppport about this problem?
