I am creating a chart of incidents created in a month in a dashboard, and I would like to group the chart on whether the incidents have breached their resolution targets or not. I have used the [Frs_data_escalation_watch#.IncidentAssocResolutionEscWatch]BreachPassed field in lists, but cannot find a way of including this in the chart.

Currently, we have a Windows WDS as our PEX server and set up ip helper on routers virtual interface. It works 75% times that sometimes with PEX server not found/time out errors. I found out that Landesk has a built in function for PXE boot. That's why we are moving this approach to make Landesk 2016 as a PXE boot server.   I would like to know how to configure DHCP server or Router to have Landesk as a PEX boot server without any PEX representative on each subnets. 

Correct me wrong, from my understanding about PXE Representative, it needs to have at least one one each subnet. If the PXE Representatives are down on this subnet, you will lose you PEX boot option on this subnet. If this is right, I don't want to have more administrative time to manage those PXE Representatives.

So, I need to configure my DHCP server with option 43 and 60 set, can someone explain a little more on detail with examples? From the documentation How to configure DHCP to work with LANDESK PXE boot , it said not option 66 and 67, if you are using Landesk PXE boot.

I was wondering if I can determine what specifically causes a scan to be placed in the Error Scan folder. Is the answer in the scan file itself? Or in a log somewhere. I have looked in the event viewer and most of the time it just says that a full scan will be forced. And I have tried to tweak my duplicate device settings but I am constantly getting error scans.

Is it possible to search in the My Item workspace for details that are in an incident, but are not pulled into the My Item object itself? The search works fine when I am searching for something that is in the subject, because this field gets duplicated onto the My item object, but I cannot search for anything in the description field.

I have tried enabling "full text search" on the relationship between the two objects.

bin gerade dabei ein Pre OS Action zu erstellen für BIOS Updates und BIOS Settings währen der OS Installation. Dabei würde ich nach einem BIOS Update ein Reboot durchführen und bei einem erneuten ausführen prüfen ob es installiert wurde. Im weiteren würden dann die BIOS Einstellungen geladen und anschließend muss wieder ein Reboot durchgeführt werden..

Dabei stellen sich mir folgende Fragen:

• Wie mache ich ein Reboot in der WinPE Phase ohne das OS Package auf compliant zu setzen?
  Mit Exit /B 0 wird mein Script erfolgreich und mit Exit /B 1|2|3.... wird es mit einem Fehler beendet. Gibt es da auch die Möglichkeit wie ein ExitProc Undone?
• Kann `man in der WinPE Phase auch aktiv Daten in die DSMC hochladen um Schemaeinstellungen zu ändern?

Mir ist gerade eben etwas merkwürdiges aufgefallen und ich bin mir nicht sich ob das so gewollt bzw. ein Fehler ist. Wir sind aktuell auf 2016.2 R2

Ich habe eine statische Computer-Gruppe mit mehreren zugewiesenen Policies und nun an einem Paket die Plattform geändert (Win10 entfernt). Nun hätte ich erwartet das alle nun überflüssigen Policies auf "Deinstallation" stehen, aber weit gefehlt, wenn ich mir die Policy-Ziele (an der Gruppe) ausklappe stehen die betroffenen PCs noch auf grün.

Suche ich mir das Computerobjekt über einen Filter oder die dynamische OS-Gruppe und klicke das Computerobjekt an, zeigt er mir plötzlich korrekt an das er deinstallieren möchte

Gehe ich wieder zurück auf die Zuweisung, stimmt nun hier auch plötzlich die Anzeige und er zeigt an das auf diesem Computerobjekt deinstalliert wird. Alle anderen nach wie vor nicht. Das betrifft im konkreten Beispiel ca. 60 Computer, ich habe das exemplarisch mal mit 5 durchgespielt, immer das gleiche. Nur die werden mit "Deinstallation" angezeigt bei denen ich einmalig das Computerobjekt angeklickt habe. Als Test hatte ich einmal die Console zwischendurch neu gestartet, das hatte aber keine Änderung auf die Anzeige.

Soll das so sein oder mache ich was falsch?

We had an existing SETUP with 1709 W10 FALL UPDATE with the workaround Trick of the Edition. > THIS worked under VMWARE

We now wanted to change our working existing "Boot Enviroment WIN PE4/5 64BIT" and UPDATE Storage and Mass Drivers.

Since then:

1) PE runs OK

2) Formating and Part runs through

3) OSD copyed the 1709 and beginn installing

4) AFTER the third reboot we get an error

In the $EXTERN package of the OS Setup we use we DO NOTsee the files Ffuprovider.dll or SILOEDpackageprovider.dll.

With the SAME OS Setuüp package HOWEVEVER we already installed several other W10 1709 VM machines. VM also does not work now.

The ONLY "Boot Enviroment" which seems to work with ACTUAL DSM Release is the one we made 19.01.2017 (Where we did not now about 1709)

1) We copied the Existing > Changed etc.

2) Made a complete new one last few days

> Nothing solved it > We where searching on drivers issues not knowing that all version we made did not work under VM ANYMORE.

I'm creating a Windows 10 imaging routine and would like to be able to choose an OU in which the AD computer object of the machine being imaged would be created. So, the engineer building a machine has the option to place the computer in an OU that's relevant to the hardware type (desktop/laptop) and the machine's function in the business (Finance, Marketing etc).

Are there any menu-driven/choice options out there where the user can select the OU in which the computer object will be created? If that solution also takes into account that a (Windows 7) computer with the same name may already exist in AD - so much the better.

Hello, We are seeing this issue after deploying DataNow 4.1 client on Windows 10 where start menu tiles disappear, users see a blank start menu until the machine is rebooted a couple of times.

Ich möchte gerne vermeiden, dass Treiber auf bereits vorhandene Clients ziehen, bzw. auf welche die z.B. durch eine Migration

in die Umgebung stoßen und bereits mit Treibern bestückt sind (unabhängig davon wie der Versionsstand ist).

Does anyboy know about documentation or have an example how to construct and send the response to an incoming web service call within HEAT (Ivanti Service Manager)?

I am able to receive and process a request from an external web service (using "Extend -> Integration Tools -> Web Service Connections -> New Service" (under "Calls from external web services to HEAT"), but now I have no idea how to construct the response and especially how to tell HEAT that it sends back this response.

aktuell stehe ich vor der Aufgabe aus einer bestehenden DSM Infrastruktur (DSM 2014), mit mehreren Standorten, einen Standort zu entfernen.

Der Standort enthält einen Server mit den Rollen: Depotserver, Managementpoint, DSM Relay Proxy, DSM Extended Reporting , DSM OSD Proxy.

In welcher Reihenfolge müssen die Komponenten entfernt / gelöscht / deinstalliert werden? Gibt es evtl. bereits vorhandene Beschreibungungen? Ich konnte leider nichts finden.

hat jemand schon Erfahrungen mit Windows 10 LTSB gesammelt?

Die Einführung von Windows 10 ist ja irgendwie unausweichlich. Aber nach der interessanten NWC-Roadshow kommen halt doch verschiedene Fragen auf bzw. wir machen uns Gedanken über verschiedene Szenarien.

Für den Standard-Office-Arbeitsplatz wird (da Volumenlizenzen vorhanden) ein "normales" Windows 10 Enterprise sicherlich zum Einsatz kommen. Mit dem Nachteil oder Effekt, dann man hier relativ häufig aktualisieren muss (Inplace-Upgrades). Sprich, bei einem normalen Lebenszyklus eines Rechners von 3 Jahren wird dieser min. ein, eher zwei oder gar drei Inplace-Upgrades bekommen. Länger lebende Rechner dementsprechend mehr.

Wenn ich jetzt überlege, wie lange das zu Hause mit dem Upgrade von Win 7 auf Win 10 gedauert hat, geht das in der Firma ja nicht mehr tagsüber, sprich das Upgrade muss nach Feierabend laufen. Allerdings gibt es bei uns auch genügend Rechner, die im 24/7-Betrieb laufen, hier müssen wird uns überlegen, was sinnvoller ist:

a) die LTSB-Variante nehmen und hoffen, dass die fehlenden Funktionien dort auch nicht gebraucht werden

b) regelmäßig die Rechner tauschen und durch aktuelle Installationen ersetzen. Sofern das mit der installierten Spezialsoftware und den Lizenzbedingungen verbeinbar ist...

Die LTSB-Variant hätte dann auch zur Folge, dass ein "anderes" Betriebssystem zum Einsatz kommt, sprich  man hat zuerst mal ein Win 10 1709 Enterprise und dann ein Win 10 Enterprise LTSB. Später werden sich die Zahl der Installationsquellen erhöhen, wenn dann Win 10 1803 und 1809 hinzukommen, und irgendwann wird es auch Win 10 LTSB 2020 (oder ähnlich) geben...

Wie ist hier Eure Planung?
