Cannot re-image a laptop
So this has been happening quite a bit here for us. At this point we are testing new builds and having to re image the same laptops.
The problem we're running into is, once the machine has been imaged. If we try to image it again, it won't get to the Landesk screens.
It goes from...
checking media presence
media present
start pxe over ipv4
to
Press F1 key to retry boot
Press F2 key to reboot into setup
Press F3 key to run onboard diagnostics
These happen with all our Dell models. Has anyone run into this? What's the underlying cause? Fix? Thanks!

Microsoft Office per device application control (licensing) for non domain devices how to
Hello Community,
One of our customers wants to control access to MS Office applications for more than 200 non-domain devices
Because the licenses are device based the customer need a solution to restrict access per device name.
Unfortunately for non domain devices there is no IP or naming convention.
Adding manually a more than 200 devices in device rule will be a nightmare for supporting.
Does anyone have AppSense Application Manager scripting rules experience with non-domain devices\machines?
Does anyone have any tested and really working scripted rule?
Any other ideas will be highly appreciated.

La tâche planifiées de mise â jour des paramètres de l'agent est bloquée depuis le 22/03/2018 avec un ordinateur qui reste en actif et 1000 en échec (agent non joignable).
Je ne sais pas comment la débloquer ni supprimer la tâche.

Adobe Preview Pane not working?
I am exporting reg keys and appdata\roaming\adobe and importing it again. But prepane does not work till I open adobe and then it works. Then I log out and back in and same thing. I have to open adobe reader again again before preview pane works. This is the DC version.
Any thoughts on what I might be missing.

Denke je nachdem ob die zeile die ich ändern will da ist od rnicht...
Gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit XML Dateien anzupassen?

update attributes in workflow
In a service I use an 'Invoke Runbook' workflow action to update one of the service attribute lists via the Identity Director API. After this action, I use a 'Provide information' workflow action to select an attribute from this list.
The runbook works, but unfortunately the requester sees the 'old' attribute list. After aborting and requesting the service for the second time, the updated attribute list is visible. The option 'Wait for Run Book to Finish' is checked.
How I can force an update of the attribute list during the workflow ?
My use case: I have a service to transport Automation Runbooks from Development to Production. When starting the service, the runbooks are updated in the attribute list. The requester selects the runbook from the list and the runbook is exported from Development and imported to Production.

Ivanti Workspace Control 10.x - Citrix 6.5 - Application can't be started
Hi,
we've a big issue since upgrading RES/Ivanti Workspace to 10.x versions (10.2.0.1 and now 10.2.500.0) on our first Citrix XenApp 6.5 farm (Win 2008 R2)...
When we publish an application through Ivanti Workspace Console with any Citrix Worker Group, result is still the same when launching apps, just after Ivanti splash screen (after 100% load) : Application can't be started.
If we publish without Citrix Worker Group (1 or multiple server) application normally starts.

Shall we create a Database instance on an existing SQL Server or it requires Dedicated SQL Server?
How to limit Agent installation only to client OS?
Limit Agent-less Scan only to Client Windows OS?
What is the Minimum Hardware requirement for installing only Inventory Component?
Any other best practices guide available?

DSM Web startet mit einer Fehlermeldung WebException nach update auf DSM 2017
Hallo zusammen,
seit dem Update auf DSM 2017 erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung beim Start der DSM Web (legacy..)
Hat jemand das gleiche Problem beim Update auf diese Version oder auch schon auf frühere?
Habe hier einen Eintrag gefunden der angeblich helfen sollte, jedoch finde ich die Einträge unter C:\Windwos\assembly nicht.
DSM Web starts with alert message about WebException after updating to DSM 2015.2.5

Is there a way to have several companies in one server installation ?, or what is the appropriate way to add another company?
I have to install everything new to add another company?

Master Incident resolved - copy status, resolution does not work
I am just testing the master Incident feature.
Version: 2017.2 on premise
Role: Administrator
Problem
linked incidents to a master incident dont get the same resolution or status like excplained here
"... For example, when you enter resolution details and set a master incident to resolved, all of the linked incidents are also set to resolved and the system adds the same resolution details to each of the linked incidents."
I activted the master incident by setting the global constant.
then I created an incident with impact high
acitivated the two option boxes for Master Incident and update related incident
save
in tab related items I linked another incident with the same service
save
changed status to resolved and added resolution and cause code
save
no changes in the linked incident

After upgrade to 10.1 FR4 Personalization Server Login Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Hi to all,
after upgrade to 10.1 FR4 HF1 we get the Error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" at Login to Personalization Console.
Did anyone know why?
We checked all Variances and shema upgrades ... all done but still the same error.
After uninstall console HF1 and reinstall concole 10.1 FR4 the connection will work correctly.

Citrix Receiver version 4.9.2000 patch
Hi
I've been struggling to deploy any Citrix patches beyond version 4.8. The patch definitions (in my mind) appear to be wrong or the downloads do not work.
Does anyone have any idea what we are supposed to do with the latest Citrix patch definition that came through last night?
It is not downloadable and gives no information in the description as to whether this is a manual download or not.
Presumably I have to find the same version from Citrix manually, in which case, do I then have to rename the file?
