Kein Support mehr für Classic PM

Habe ein Problem im Classic PM festgestellt, das auch durch den IVanti Support bestätigt wurde, jedoch nicht mehr gefixed werden soll.

 

Das hat mich ziemlich erstaunt, weil das classic PM noch ganz offiziell im Support ist.

Der Fall wird hier beim Kunden jetzt auch rechtlich geprüft.

 

Auch eine Ankündigung seitens Ivanti, dass es hierbei Änderungen gibt, kenne ich nicht.

 

Wisst ihr was dazu?

Wer benutzt denn von euch das Classic PM und wer das APM?

Can setup like below to have the INC starts from 1 but we would like to + 10000 to have the INC starts from 100001, any one know how to config this field

We are using Landesk Service Desk in two languages and all users should be able to switch the language as they prefer but since a couple of days ago the language box disappeared and I tried to find a service or something that could be causing the issue but I got nothing.

Setup & Sync Tool: Cannot save this object, name not unique within its context

Hi all.

 

In Setup & Sync Tool I keep getting an error message saying "Failed to save organization "nnn" (Cannot save this object, name not unique within its context.)."

I've checked the option "Ignore duplicates" in the tab "Mappings".

Data source is AD.

 

Anyone know how to solve this?

MC92N0 Backspace not working

Hi

 

I have a client using MC92N0 scanners on site.

 

We have installed the necessary Wavelink, as well as applied all the necessary configs.

 

When we open the Wavelink, the Backspace button stops working.

 

I have tried setting Key Macros in the Emulation parameters.

 

I have also enabled Force SAP ITS Keyboard in the Emulation parameters.

 

Is there a registry setting or any other type of settings that I can check to try and resolve this?

 

All other buttons work, just the Backspace is giving us trouble.

Two Condition in Process Designer

Hello everyone ,

 

if i want to merge to conditions in one how i can do this

 

i want first to check if ( Checkbox ) is ticked and then check if all child are completed

 

so i can hide the Completed Actions after the user add the child and this child is closed then he can processed .

 

 

the calculations inside the current condition is :

so how i will merge both in one condition ?

The following Error in OpsConsole Application appears when we attempt to push from STG into UAT on 2017.2.1.

 

Failed with the error message:

I'm facing issue while trying to connect Sybase data source to Xtraction where I've already connected to MS SQL and MySQL data sources.Below is the connection error details:

Updating software based on inventory scan results?

Hi there-  I'm a pretty new admin, so still learning what it can and can't do... basically, I've been asked to accomplish the following:

  1. Immediately scan any workstation when it boots up.
  2. Determine whether or not it has the specific version of software (Citrix Receiver) that we currently support.
  3. If necessary, either downgrade or update the endpoint based on whatever was scanned into the inventory.

 

I'm not really seeing, nor finding an article for, an obvious way to accomplish this and I'm wondering if it's something EPM (Landesk) can even do.  We also have workspace management (appsense).. again with a fresh new admin who is still learning, and part of me wonders if that is a better way of accomplishing this task?

I have tried several expression syntax including $(CurrentUserRole() == "Admin" || $(CurrentUserRole() == "Change Manager"))  in the "Visible Expression property of the field With no luck.

Device cannot be found in Ivanti Management Console

Laptops, imaged with Windows10, found in AD, added to domain but cannot be found in Ivanti Management Console (screenshot attached)

Inventory scan performed, but still cannot find them.

Does anyone know if it is possible to point content replication to a specific volume on a preferred server rather than it pointing to the sdmcache on the default C Drive volume of a server?

Multiple Landscapes in Service Manager

I've installed SM 2017.2 on two servers.  I have on tenant and created three landscapes, production, staging, uat.  One server is for production, the other is for staging, uat.  I've pushed my production DB to staging and staging to uat.  I'd like to get another landscape, development, up and running.  I created the development landscape, but I don't have any option to push anything to it, as in the diagram below.

The documentation regarding landscapes says: Ivanti Service Manager supports separate landscapes: development (also called staging), test (also called UAT), and production. You can run these landscapes on the same server or isolate them on separate servers.  The system configuration wizard shows 5 different landscapes:

  1. production
  2. staging
  3. uat
  4. pilot
  5. development

 

  1. Can I have a development landscape? 
    1. If so, how do I create the DB for this landscape?
  2. Can I load the demo data into this DB?
    1. If so, how do I load the demo data?

Hi,

 

I want to continue to block onedrive. I just want this message to not appear.

 

I can stop one drive from running using other methods but MS havent made it easy! It would be good to be able to supress messages.

 

Any ideas or even methods to stop one drive completely per user?

Error message after selecting the role (WIS) The provided anti-forgery token was meant for user "domain\user", but the current user is "".

In Ivanti Service Management 2017.2.1 (on Premise) with the authentication provider WIS as default we get an error message again and again.

 

If a user has more than one role, the following error message will appear after selecting the role:

Windows Updates werden über Patchlink nicht als notwendig erkannt

Hallo,

 

seit ca. ende Dezember erkennt Patchlink keine Windows Updates mehr als notwendig an.

 

So wird z.B. "2018-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 x64 (KB4074590)" nicht mehr als fehlender Patch erkannt. Obwohl dieser Patch bei allen unseren DSM Rechnern fehlt (MS Security Analyzer crosscheck), ist die Liste "Affected Computers" leer.

 

Das letzte Cum Update wurde im Dezember installiert, seither finden alle Windows Rechner (Win 7 sowie Win 10) keine Updates mehr. Alle anderen Patchlink Produkte können ohne Probleme gepatcht werden.

 

Ich habe bereits ein Ticket eröffnet. Antwort wahr lediglich, dass das Problem bekannt sei.

 

Ist es überhaupt ein bekanntes Problem, oder werd ich hier nur hingehalten?!

Application started, but not visible on taskbar

VDX has a connection and i can start the local application from within my VDI, but the application is not visible on my taskbar.

 

When i start a session on a different client, everything works fine.

Performance replying to emails in the Journal object from within an Incident

When replying to emails with history from the Journal Related Objects object in incident is very slow.  20+ seconds to open, and 10+ seconds to reply. 

I investigated using the performance tuning steps and new indexes were created but performance hasn't changed.  I am curious if others have experienced this problem and have any suggestions?
