I'm trying to personalize SAP GUI 7.50. I've tried this template SAP GUI 7 Personalization Template
and I also tried to create a Application group by my self through data collection. But unfortunately I'm unable to change the SAP GUI theme.
It looks for me that the application tries to get the setting from the local registry.
Did anyone else have the same experience?

Request Offering - Design request form problem - when using a pick list with employee validation it can be submitted without resolving name. The form recognizes the name but it doesn't resolve and pull in data needed to process and cancels based on workflow logic.
For ex, when a name is entered and the name or closest names appear below the field in blue you need to select and resolve the name. In my case when you select the name in blue to resolve, it enables a field for contractor. However, if you enter a name and it appears in blue and you click in the white space to the right of the form and is satisfied it is a valid item - however, it is not resolved and doesn't enable the contractor field. The form can be submitted but cancels because it recognizes the request is for a FTE (full-time employee) since the contractor field is not enabled (based on workflow).
This seems to be a bug - has anyone noticed this behavior? Hopefully this is not too confusing...
I'm using the export to excel functionality (mentioned in this post Export To Excel Functionality ).
But I want to export more columns than what I see in my list. I want to export the "Description" field that shows up on the details tab:
I think I might have to get the description field to show up as one of the columns in my search? How do I do that?
Right now, this is what my search screen looks like:
Perhaps this can be considered a "custom column" export?
Regardless, the reason I'm doing this is that I want to load the data into a database to perform analysis on it. Perhaps there is a way to query the data directly, but I don't know how to do that, either... for now I figured I could export to excel, load the data, then analyze it.

I'm hoping you guys can help me because it is driving me nuts. I'm trying to create a single configuration and execute certain nodes based on a condition. The idea of the design is I would apply some global settings to all users, and then based on conditions I might override those settings with something specific to them. This is what I was attempting to design and based from my understanding:
1 - Set some global variables (to be used in the conditions)
2 - Empty node, just used to contain the sub nodes
3 - Execute the child nodes for the global settings (note: Machine is an empty "Group Node", again just to help me with the hierarchy of processing)
4 - Execute the child nodes of the Machine group node
5 - Execute the nodes under the "Standard" node - these settings might override something set in Global specific to "Standard" machines
6 - Execute the child nodes under the Entity node group (again, just used for the hierarchy) and could potential override the global or machine settings to customize the experience at different geographical locations in my organization.
The nodes that have a "- #" contain a custom Powershell script that appends to a debug log just so I can see the order in which the nodes are firing. In my log I noticed that they weren't following the Hierarchy. For example, Step 6 logged before Step 2, etc.
There is got to be a way to process the policy config like this... or am I trying to stick a square into a round hole? Is there some log file I can look at to see what nodes were applied and when (like a gpresult)?
Any feedback is appreciated, I've been banging my head on this for days and can't figure out a way to validate the order in which things are processing other than what I tried by logging to a file.

781 installs java 6 by default and based on a audit from one of our customers I was asked to see if later versions of Java were available. Although the supported platforms guide doesn't say anything about the versions of Java that are supported, support have confirmed that later versions are supported.
Has anyone had specific issues with (say) 8? In the past I've had java apps that are sensitive to even sub-versions of Java installed, so I was looking fot any real world experiences of this.

Is there a way to push packages for example (Mircosoft Office) from ServiceDesk using Process Designer automaticaly if the workstation has an agent? Is this possible and where in Console (Process Designer) can you place the connection details? I know you can link the two systems in Configuation Center but when actually pulling a request from SD to Endpoint how does this work?
Just looking for some articles or documents, I can read up on.

Does anyone know of a way to lock and incident when another analyst has it open? We have a situation where I work where one group of people take the calls and create the incidents and another group works them out of a pool. We contently run into the problem where 2 people will grab the same incident and start working it. In past helpdesk software there has been a way to lock the incident and/or notify the second person that opens the incident that it is currently opened by another user. Any suggestions?
Usually Incidents or SRs can't be closed if anything is pending by default... At least I thought... I created a Request Offering with approval but was able to fulfill without approval. Is there a BO that can be set to prevent fulfillment without approval?
I recently noticed that the root drive on the core is starting to get filled up, mostly by log files (roughly 80 GBs of just logs...)
There are 2 main areas where there is a lot of disk use, and I wanted to check with the community to see if it would be safe to do the following:
1) Delete the log files in INETPUB/Logs/LogFiles (I believe this is IIS auditing) <roughly 50 GB of storage>
2) Delete the updaterSDK7.log file (I believe this is tracking AV definition downloads, though we no longer use LDAV) <roughly 30 GB file>
If so, I may have to add this to my quarterly maintenance tasks.

I want to create an API in Asp.net and C# to connect to Goldmine for selecting and inserting records in the Goldmine database.
We have tried with GMCOMAPI and GMXMLAPI .dll files however, but it wasn’t successful. We are getting an error message that shows "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {270BA898-891F-4EE6-B61F-F9BC1F3D3031} failed due to the following error: 80070005 Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))". Can anyone help?

When ticket is logged via email, often user mentions people who are copied in the email, but in the ticket, this information is not visible. Does anyone know what is required to include recipients who are copied in the email to be included in a ticket information?

I would like to implement a script that maps your OneDrive as Webdav to the Windows Explorer.
According to RES the command line for Powershell scripts should be "Powershell.exe %script%".
On the script tab i just pasted the script.
Other settings:
- Run with dynamics privileges
- Run at logon after other actions
- Run once: No
- Run hidden: Not selected
When i logon nothing happens.
When i check the diagnostics for my session it tells me the script has run OK.
To test if the script is OK is enabled myself to use Powershell in my session. I authorized Powersell and net.exe within the App Locker.
When i run the script from out the Powershell.exe it runs OK and according to the script outcome it mapped the X drive.
When i first checked the Windows Explorer the X drive was not there. Though i was able to browse to X: from out the command prompt / Powershell.
So in RES i created an X drive under "Drive and Port mappings". Actions:
- Do not perform drive mapping operation
- Do not hide
Now when i run the script i also see the X drive in my Windows Explorer.
All fine, but now i want the script to run after logon. And although RES says it run OK, it just doesnt seem to do the job.
Is there anything i am missing?

We have an import scheduled to run every midnight that imports new users from AD based on a particular attribute used to filter only users requiring LANDesk access.
Everything works perfectly but we have a large number of external users who we need the default SelfServiceUser role to be removed when imported and another external role (SelfServiceGuest) added to the users profile.
Can't seem to figure this out, even if I remove the SelfServiceUser role it gets added back every day during import.
Can anyone advise the best way to do the below:
Remove SelfServiceUser role from user after import and assign another specified role.
Any help will be greatly appreciated and we might help others who might have similar issues.

I have pushed a printer to several Macs via Configuration Profile and now the printer has changed. I have created a new profile for the new printer, but how do I use LANrev to remove the old printer without going to each Mac (Most of these are laptops that I'll never see) and without messing up any local printers they may have installed?

in our CMDB we have an Object which is called CI.BusinessApplication. We are using the CI Map to link all servers which are provider for a Business app. We use the ouf the box relationship for this "CiServiceMapAssocidatedCI" which is a N:M relationship to archive this.
We are trying to create a picklist which can be used to show all Servers linked to a business application.
I tried to use a constraint like this:
[CI#BusinessApplication.CIServiceMapAssociatedCI]Name equals to "ITSM"
but I got zero search results. If i leave the Equals to field empty I see a list of all servers.
We wanted to use the new list in a request offering for making visible which servers do provide a business application. Has anybody being able to archive this?
Is there any way that i can get access to good user guides and documentation for configuring Heat (cloud) ? The built-in 'Help' is not detailed enough to be able to do much other than the simplest tasks.
So-far, the only good advice I've had has been from asking trained professionals or posting my question in this forum.
Any ideas?

We have just set up a new Ivanti 2017.2 application. Just my account have a problem, when I log in I have this error:
"Console Login Error: You have insufficient rights to launch the console. Validate that you have been assigned a role or that you belong to a group that has been assigned a role"
The other users that are in my group don't have this problem. I checked all the groups and configuration: are the same. I have found this error related to the old console 9.2, but not this. Someone could help? Thank you. F.

wie kann ich die SOAP-Connection bei PowerShell trennen und mit einem anderen Benutzer neu verbinden?
Ich arbeite gerade an einem Skript und wollte hier die Verbindung mit verschiedenen Benutzern testen, aber dazu muss ich immer die PowerShell beenden.
Das Löschen des entsprechenden Objektes mit
$dsm = $null
oder
Remove-Variable dsm
funktioniert zwar, aber bei einem erneuten Start des Skriptes wird leider der alte Benutzer verwendet. Ich muss immer erst die PowerShell beenden und neu starten.
Ich nutze PowerShell 5.1 mit DSM 2017 (Patch 4356) und bin dabei, mit eine Klasse in DSM zu programmieren. Wenn ich jetzt den entsprechenden Code rausziehen will, ist das etwas aufwändig. Wie gesagt, die Verbindung klappt bei ersten Start mit dem entsprechenden Benutzer, nur wird irgendwo etwas zwischengespeichert, was ich nicht trennen oder löschen kann. Ich erzeuge auch ein gültiges PSCredential-Object, welches an den Aufruf
$ws = New-WebServiceProxy -URI <gültige URI" -Credential $credentialObject
übergeben wird.
Der Wert von
$ws.UseDefaultCredentials
ist "false", bei jedem Start mit einem gültigen Benutzer. Allerdings liefert die Abfrage auf "GetIdentifiedUser" immer das Benutzerobject, welches bei der ersten Anmeldung verwendet wurde.
Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das sauber getrennt bekomme? Auch das setzen von
$ws=$null
bringt nichts.
Das einzige, was halbwegs funktioniert, ist das Setzen von
$ws.credential = $credentialObject
nach dem Verbinden. Aber ein Wechsel der Verbindungen mit "-Credential $credentialObject" und "-UseDefaultCredential" klappt so nicht.
