- Total number of CIFS ops required - ?
- Total amount of throughput (MB/s) required - ?
- Maximum tolerated latency (ms) required (for a single user settings access) - ?
where can I find this information?

We have IT who need the agent installed but never had software deployed to them. They would however need to go thru the portal manager to get applications. is there a way to configure the agent to not have the software distribution agent installed. It's grayed out.
Hi everyone I'm assigning a few software policies to a group of users, and I'm assigning it to the "current computer", screen shot below. This has worked fine so far, but what I'm noticing is if I login as the local administrator on the same computer, the DSM client removes the software packages that were installed for the targeted users. Example: If I deployed WebEx to a group of users and the sofware was installed on workstation, and I login as the local administrator. The WebEx software package will be removed, and then when I login back in as the target user the application will get re-installed.
Does anyone know how to stop this type of activity?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to do a silent install of Ivanti Device & Application Control 5.1.
I did an msi Package for Version 5.0 and it works fine , since Version 5.1 you cannot call the Client.x64.msi File. You have to cal the Client.exe file instead (because of anothoer Install package by ivanti may be?).
But I cannot find any doucmentation what the silent install parameters are?
Has somebody an example of silent install of Version 5.1?
In addition if i am trying to deploy the client via the Lumension console (Heat endpoint security client deployment), on a Windows 10 Machine, the error is:
fatal error 0x000000643 .
Are there not enough rights for admin$ share on the client machine? If yes why? I did not have this issue with version 5.

Is there a way in escript to determine the Unique ID of the software package, it should come across as Unique number like "{FD108501-C63A-4BFB-A02A-E530351A0850}". I'm wanting to cross check this against a registry value that's created once an application is installed, it writes the same value to "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NetSupport\NetInstall\Installed Apps\"

When "Add screens" during screen mapping, sometimes Velocity predicts and uses a wrong template for the newly added screens. Is there any way to disable this feature, or change the template of the screen?

Gibt es irgendwie die Möglichkeit, vorinstallierte UWP-Apps, die bereits auf einem Clients installiert sind (z.B. Karten, Paint 3D), via Command-Line über den installierten Store zu aktualisieren?
Über die Windows-Aufgabenplanung habe ich den Task \Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\Automatic App Update bereits gefunden, jedoch macht der explizit nicht das was ich will .
Auf die Schnelle habe ich noch Folgendes gefunden:

We use a specific naming convention in our environment to determine a machine's purpose. For example:
C-SerialNum is for computer labs
L-SerialNum is for Laptops
D-SerialNum is for Desktops
Is there a way to have a provisioning template check for an existing name for a machine that is being re-deployed? I am trying to have this fully automated so that when provisioning a system, it requires no user intervention.

Client machine unable to download patch after we removed patch location to other storage (before this when it worked, the patch folder is in core server). Client machine able to access the
path \\IBS-FS4\PPS\Patch\Patch\windows6.1-kb4093108-x86_tw1211060.msu from their machine but not able to download the file during the patch deploy task.
Share permission to everyone has been set as Full Control on folder Patch.
Recently we are facing issue with inventory scans not working on most of new client machines. We are able to successfully push the Landesk inventory agent to a new PC. It seems to install fine but the PC is still sitting in Pending Unmanaged Client Deployment. It fails when sending scan results to the core server. When I tried to run a inventory scan manually ,it fails and displays the below error.
Inventory Services seem to be up and running within the PC and core server.
I can telnet from the PC to the core with ports 5007.
Windows firewall is disabled.
Appreciate your timely help and support on this

hat hier schon Jemand versucht ein NVMe Drive per WMI zu erkennen? Hintergrund wir haben hier ein Notebook Modell bekommen wo ein NVMe Drive und eine SATA HD eingebaut ist. Die SATA HD ist Physicaldrive 0, welches dann entsprechend von DSM formatiert wird.
Jetzt möchte ich in das DSM Partitionierungsskript eine Erkennung einbauen. Wenn Disk1 = NVme set disknumber=1.
Ich hab dann mal ein wenig mit dem WMI Explorer experimentiert. Leider wird dort der InterfaceType in der Win32_DiskDrive Klasse als SCSI ausgegeben:
Man könnte jetzt noch mit PNPDeviceID rum experiemntieren und vielleicht so die Info filtern. Übersteigt dann aber etwas meine Bat Kenntnisse da das ja alles in .BAT sein muss.
Habt ihr sowas schon mal versucht?

When Cancelling a Service Request, I added a prompt for notes to a Triggered Action in the Service Request business rules.when the service request is cancelled. In addition I added a Conditional Expression such that it prompts only for a certain Request Offering.
Let me know how to either
- Get around this Error "Unhandled system exception: Exception of type 'DataLayer.PromptException' was thrown." OR
- Display a prompt when a Self Service User is cancelling their Service Request.

How to collect the email addresses for all individual Team Members when their Team is assigned to an Incident/Task/Service Request (other Business Object)
I found the solution above on the support site. It dynamically collects the emails of each team member $(ForEachChild("StandardUserTeam#", OwnerTeam_Valid, "Employee#", "PrimaryEmail + '; '")) via workflow, storing the long string in a large text field of the Incident (or other ticket). This field can then be used to address the email. The workflow triggers when the Team assignment is created or changed.
We are doing our initial configurations and customizations now, and it seems that replacing Team Emails for notifications with some variation of this would dynamically update the email address list for new/updated assignments after a member has been added to a team.
Using the OOTB Team Email solution requires creation and maintenance of numerous Distribution Lists in Outlook. We want to keep this with the HEAT Admin instead . We had been considering pairing a Contact Group with each team and using a quick action to update the Group membership from the Team, but if this can be implemented it would eliminate a number of Contact Groups and remove the maintenance as team membership grows.
I'm also wondering, whether this might be stored separately or incorporated in the Team object and accessed via a relationship. It would remove the redundancy of these strings in each incident, problem, etc.

I have two fields called as "PHI Impact Risk" and "If Yes Explain" fields. "PHI Impact Risk" is Boolean data type "Yes/No". "If Yes Explain" is String. I would like to write the code for -
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "Yes", automatically the "If Yes Explain" should get converted to Mandatory field and should give warning to user mentioning "It is required field".
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "No" then "If Yes Explain" should not be mandatory.
Attributes -
"PHI Impact Risk" the name/attribute in DB is "_PHIImpactRisk"
"If Yes Explain" the name/ attribute in DB is "_PHIimpactexplain"

What method is best to choose to push websites to the trusted site list for Internet Explorer.
So far I have been unsuccessful and have tried adding a registry key to do this:
The distribution runs successful, but it does not show up in the Trusted Site list or even in the registry. I have tried "64bit" and "Not Applicable" under "Architect Options"
