Hi All,
We have performed a recent upgrade to 10.2.700.1. The upgrade was successful, however, since this I have experienced a few occasions where you can no longer run as a different users when running the admin console.
This will fail and suggest either
Users are all connected to relay servers running same code revision 10.2.700.1
Reverting back to RES 2016 provides expected outcome as everything works with run as a different user
Tested on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 10 1709.
Any known bugs around this?

When opening a Word-document from a web-site, we see that "Word is being configured" but the application does not complete startup.
The process is running, but application not visible to the user.
Anyone seen this?
I presume it has to do with Citrix, as it is working on fat clients, but would appreciate any hints on where to look.

When starting Ivanti Service Manager we receive the following error:
"Http error 500.19 - Internal Server Error" with error code 0x8007000d.
It is installed on a W2016 Server with ASP.net 4.6 enabled.

There was a previous discussion that Windows Server 2016 might be supported with ISM 2017.3.1, however the Requirements and Compatibility Matrix document still only has 2012R2.
Any update on this?

Hi!
We have XSLT setup. Now we are want incidents to be generated from another system when a device goes down. The body of the incoming email contains the device name. Generating the ticket is not the problem, but I want the generated incident to be closed if the system receives a new email with the word "UP" in the subject and the same device ID in the body.
I save the device ID in a field in the incident record. Now I want to trigger on this field value, just like you do with the ticket number with the second incoming UP email.
Anyone of you who have solved this?

We use a Weekly HOP for everything which is only M-F. Is there a way to make it so the weekends are not included? An example is we don't want a certain Service Request to allow the customer to give a required date within 3 days. I'm sure there is a long expression that could be written but I'm not understanding why it's not looking at the HOP. Or perhaps there is a setting somewhere else I need to change?

Symmetrically encryption of data inISM database: a number of constraints have been found - I was wondering if anyone on the community has in-depth experience of encryption of fields perhaps. Logged a support call and had a look in the community and helpfile but no answers forthcoming.
These are:
Unable to search on an encrypted field.
Unable to do a full text search on an encrypted field.
It is possible to set an encrypted field as sortable in a list, but the sort is done by the encrypted value and not the unencrypted value.
It is possible to filter on an an encrypted field in a list, but the filter is done by the encrypted value and not the unencrypted value.
Questions: SQL Report from outside of ISM- is it possible to decrypt fields in reports? I know you can use encryption keys in each query.
Example:
Encypting Data:
DECLARE @Result varbinary(256) SET @Result=EncryptByKey(Key_GUID('MySymmetricKeyName'),@ValueToEncrypt)
Decrypting Data : You can decrypt data by using the DecryptByKey function, like so:
DECLARE @Result varchar(max) SET @Result=DecryptByKey(@ValueToDecrypt)
Can encryption be done via database stored procedures, which perform the encryption and decryption. Can ISM then interfaces with these stored procedures and write/read data to the DB?
We are pushing these 2 repair tasks for these definitions and we get back Patch already installed, repair no longer needed. We check the servers and the patches are NOT there.
I am currently doing an LDMS implementation at my company for a little under 3k endpoints. I have years of experience with the product, but have never had or implemented Patch Manager. We currently use WSUS and will be replacing it entirely with LDMS. We are not up to the patch phase of project, but I spent a lot of time evaluating different areas of patch when I did the proof of concept. I have a number of questions that I'm hoping some of you can point me in the right direction on.
1.) Moving from WSUS to Patch Manager what is usually the practice here? Do people usually start from where WSUS left off when it comes to approving patches for autofix? Do you try to match up all WSUS approvals with Patch Manager?
2.) How are people using download definition settings? They are very limited where you only have vendor/product and contains/equals. Initially I was hoping to use this for automation in getting patches into a roll-out project for a more hands-off approach, but that doesn't seem possible with the limited options.
3.) For workstations we will probably be implementing a three-phase patch cycle where pilot 1 would get approved patches the weekend following patch Thursday, pilot 2 the following weekend, and the rest of the environment. I'm weary of using the 'Disable any rules this definition replace' setting in the download definition settings for this reason... If a patch is still in play for the general population and a newer version of the patch comes out that will go to pilot this setting would stop the previous version from getting fully deployed to the general population. How are people using this setting with this issue? If you are not using it, how are you retiring old patches?
4.) How are people using groups and tags to maintain phases/rollouts/etc?
5.) With autofix one of my fears is that a patch will fail a number of times and stop installing where WSUS would just keep trying with the regular schedule. How are people protecting themselves against this issue?
6.) For autofix to work I assume you'd have to configure the reboot agent settings assigned to the agents to allow reboots during a time that overlaps with the patch/distribution agent settings maintenance window?

this is my command: result = Goldmine.GMW_LoadBDE(@"C:\program files (x86)\goldmine\", "GoldMine: [ANSI]", "GoldMine: [ANSI]", "master", "access");
As you can see, I am hardcoding username and password as master, access. How can I get the current logged in password and username? . I don't wanna hard code username and password? also I need the logged in username and password for another functionality.

I have a current support case opened, but thought I'd post in here as well to see if anyone has run into this oddity...
I had Service Desk 2017.3 loaded in my test environment, and went through the steps to upgrade to 2018.1 to continue my teams evaluation of the newer version before we make the cutover from our prod version (2016.3). In doing so, the upgrade seemingly went fine, no issues reported and it claimed to have succeeded. I upgraded my Explicit Only Framework in my instance, rebuilt the knowledge, applied the new license, then turned all configured services back on. I have two configured workspaces (one setup as Token, the other as Explicit). I logged into my token workspace and everything seemed fine until I started giving it a once over. I know that my knowledge rebuild task completed and there were results within it, however, when I try to use the search gadget, I get zero results. There are other little things like privileges that aren't getting recognized in the token workspaces if changed in the console. I've checked config files, the log file from the database upgrade, nothing seems out of order and no glaring errors in the log.
Initially, I then logged into my explicit workspace and it acted as though it was still on version 2017.3. The search gadget lost focus after one character being input and the calendar gadget was not available to add in (fixes and features in 2018.1). Not sure how that is possible but randomly I tried another database upgrade from within config center and that seems to have resolved it. My explicit workspace is working as I would expect and the search gadget returns results in a drop down as well as when you hit search
Any thoughts here on what could be happening or has anyone run into this? I've tried completely uninstalling my test environment, blowing away my configured instance, removing all traces of service desk and restoring from an old backup then reinstalling/configuring everything, and I get the same result in my token vs explicit workspaces pages.
I can't see the related CI Component in the Baseline Mapping area even though all of the documentation says I should be seeing something below in the Related Items area (for Logical storage, Memory, Network Adapter). I've upgraded to 2017.3.1 on premise and I believe I could see this before in 2017.2.1. Any idea on how to get the related items visible?

I have two fields called as "PHI Impact Risk" and "If Yes Explain" fields. "PHI Impact Risk" is Boolean data type "Yes/No". "If Yes Explain" is String. I would like to write the code for -
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "Yes", automatically the "If Yes Explain" should get converted to Mandatory field and should give warning to user mentioning "It is required field".
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "No" then "If Yes Explain" should not be mandatory.
Attributes -
"PHI Impact Risk" the name/attribute in DB is "_PHIImpactRisk"
"If Yes Explain" the name/ attribute in DB is "_PHIimpactexplain"
