Use request parameter to set the resolution target

Is it possible to use a date parameter in a request offering to set the resolution target (BreachDateTime) of the resulting request? Could that field also be used to set the due date for tasks created in the workflow?

 

The idea here is to allow the requester to state when they need the fulfillment, rather than set an arbitrary length of time in the offering. I want to use the date they select to update the BreachDateTime for the request and the task(s).


Can I create a dashboard based on the logged in Xtraction user? And show only the "Assigned To" tickets for the logged in Xtraction user? Then I can create a generic dashboard that can be used by all users based on Xtraction login id., Can I create a dash

Mobile layout / ISM app

I've created a new mobile layout for the SDA role but when I open the ISM app it looks exactly as it would if I'd simply opened a browser on my phone. Has anybody got this working? Many thanks in advance.

Importierte Gruppe aus AD aktualisiert nicht

Wir setzen für die Zugriffsverwaltung mit den Rollen eine importierte Sicherheitsgruppe aus dem AD ein. Ich würde jetzt erwarten, dass wenn ich Änderungen in der AD Gruppe vornehme, dies dann auch in der Gruppe im DSM abgebildet wird. Oder muss die Gruppe bei Änderungen jedes Mal entfernt und neu eingelesen werden? Falls nein, wann sollte die Aktualisierung erfolgen?

Change colors in Configure Application

In our Stage environment we have changed the Header Background Center to a different color to easily see when you are in Stage.  This color does not seem to carry over when you go to Configure Application, which is where I would most like it to be.  Is there a way to change styles and colors in Configure Application?

Is there a release date for EPM 2018.1?

Our company has been working towards disabling TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on all systems and according to Ivanti Tech Support, EPM 2018.1 will be the version to allow us to reach that goal with our Endpoint Manager Core systems. The deadline is fast approaching for the end of the project. The timeline given to me by support was an expected release "Late Q1, early Q2". April is now turning to May and I need to close this out.

Heat API Quick Start

The Heat API documentation has a quick start example.  Has anyone managed to get this working?  I have tried on two servers but cannot get it to work.

 

"Create a HTTP accessible folder, in our example "TestClient" at url http://localhost/TestClient/."

 

Done.  It does not make it clear whether this is a virtual folder or web application, but I have tried both.

 

"Then add the file for OAuth2.0 authentication call back oauthcallback.html"

 

Done.  Do you only need the script line in this file, no HTML?

 

"Register Application"

 

Done.

 

"To load the library, put this string into your index.html ..."

 

Done.

 

"To test your application open http://localhost/TestClient/. The authentication window should appear and you can log in using your SaaS account."

 

"Your HEATAPI client application works. Congratulations!"

Scenario:

1. User 1: Create new Request Offering, have no permission to publish

2. User 2: Review the new Request Offering and publish it

Hi,I have installed Goldmine Premium Edition 2014.1.0.503 (2014).I recently have purchased Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus and I could not install Goldmine Plus for Microsoft Office.It is not working.

This plugin is very important for our company because we have a lot of e-mail templates which were created with Microsoft Word.

Before upgrading Microsoft Office suite,it worked perfectly.

My question is whetter is there any solution for this issue without upgrading Goldmine version.

Bulk update asset status

I have a large number of assets that have been disposed of and I need to change their status. I am able to create assets by importing spreadsheets and can even overwrite some fields on existing assets by importing sheets that are mapped to the appropriate fields but I cannot change the status via import. Is this because the status change is being done as an action in the lifecycle? Is there a way around this? If this can be done in the console that would be great. I do not want to think about making the changes directly in the database. Thanks.

response target not showing

For some reason our "Response Target" and also "Resolution Target" progress bars are no longer showing any data nor dates.

Hi,

 

As a developer, I cringe every time I have to develop things twice, thrice or more.

CIs in HEAT appears to be one of those developments.

 

I cannot manage to develop my form of CI object (base group object), and use it as a part of CI.Workstation object (extension object).

I've been trying a few things already, but only one workaround may work with HEAT and I'm concerned it might break my environment sooner or later:

When creating a child panel, we can select the relation "Itself", but can't change the business object returned by that relationship (in yellow below)

 

 

Given the way HEAT works, I assume that creating another "Itself" relationship might do the trick: linking CI RecId to CI.Workstation RecId.

In an object point of view it makes sense (more or less), but when we look at the Db, these two objects are in the same table, and it will mean reference the exact same field on both ends of the relationship.

 

Is it going to blow up my environment or not?

Is there a better practice other than this ugly relationship and other than developing more than 20 times the same screen for all my extension objects?

How to link a child object to parent

If I create a child object from the parent then the Link_Category and Link_RecID is automatically created on the child and the link functions.

But if I create a new object within child object itself then the Parent link does not exist. If I manually update the Link_Category and Link_RecID for the child in the Database then the link works as expected.

My question is, the child object's Link_RecID (which should link to the parent) is not showing up as a field I can update so how do I link the child to the parent?

Call Workspaces from 3rd Party Web App?

I'm a Remedy developer and years ago before Remedy migrated to their web interface and we had the client we had the functionality to be able to click a button and call the old LANDesk toolbar with User credentials being passed through so it would quickly find their machine(s) and then the support technician could quickly remote, push software, etc. When Remedy migrated to the web app we lost this functionality without putting in the development hours to build an asynchronous pluggable protocol or some sort of URI mapper. Then the idea just fell by the wayside as folks got used to launching the tool bar manually and running the search.

 

Well now I had an enhancement request to bring that functionality back if possible. So does anyone know if there is a way to call Workspaces from a third party web app while passing through, say a User's logon information, so the technician can quickly see the User's machine and then quickly remote, push software, etc.

 

I know I may be using the wrong terms, I apologize since this is outside of my wheelhouse.

Not send Surveys to members of a group

We don't want our IT team to fill in surveys for Incidents that they may have credited for themselves.  This is to help stop the skewed survey's we are getting.

 

For example if I open an incident for myself and complete the work, I do not want to receive a survey where I can give myself the highest marks possible.

 

Does that make sense?
