Does anyone know how to display a journal entry (email, note etc.) on a label?
We are trying to customize the look a feel of the journal entries. A part of this is eliminating the popup on click of the journal entry, a displaying the detail in a separate label.
Out of the box, there are no update notifications when a journal.notes is created, nor any indication on the dashboard or list view that the ticket contains a new note. Aside from having to go into each ticket to check for journal notes entries, I am curious to know how you or your team knows when a journal note has been created in a ticket.

I am looking specifically at the 'Patch and Compliance Dashboard'.
Double clicking on some chart segments (like in 'Inventory Scan Rate') generate a query with the details of how it got the data.
I can view it as a report and then view the SQL to make sure I know exactly what it is telling me.
That doesn't seem to work for all the chart components.
Is there something I can do to get this behavior on all the components?

I have two fields called as "PHI Impact Risk" and "If Yes Explain" fields. "PHI Impact Risk" is Boolean data type "Yes/No". "If Yes Explain" is String. I would like to write the code for -
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "Yes", automatically the "If Yes Explain" should get converted to Mandatory field and should give warning to user mentioning "It is required field".
If user selects "PHI Impact Risk" as "No" then "If Yes Explain" should not be mandatory.
Attributes -
"PHI Impact Risk" the name/attribute in DB is "_PHIImpactRisk"
"If Yes Explain" the name/ attribute in DB is "_PHIimpactexplain"
Can someone please send me the calculation code for the above?

Has anyone else seen this.
I have a script that fully checks my agents regularly. I am finding that some of the machines have a file count of less than 33 in the c:\Program Files\LANDesk\Shared Files directory.
The strange thing is this is happening on machines that had this directory fully populated so the files are disappearing.
My script will kick off an uninstall and reinstall if this directory has less than 33 files in.
I am also noticing that on install of the agent this Directory does not always populate fully. For reference my uninstall is a full clean and i even delete reg keys and folders so no trace of landesk is on the machine - so i am starting with a clean slate.
Is anyone else seeing this folder not populating on install or this folder losing files?

Is it possible to do something like a "Run As" inside Heat?
I'm trying to remove "Standard" from "Type" on the Change object because I only want users to use templates for a standard change. I can filter out Standard using a constraint like $(if CurrentUserRole != "Admin" then "Standard" else "") but it makes the templates unusable if i do. I was hoping for something similar to a "Run As" for the templates to be ran as internal services so that standard is in the pick list.
Any ideas?
We have a vendor who builds our devices for us and has a Ivanti replication server in the warehouse connecting over a VPN back to our head office and core server.
Our vendor is able to build new devices with no issues at all, if they build a device that has been seen by Ivanti before it will never be offered a PXE offer.
We have checked our inventory for the MAC address of these devices, and they do not ever appear in the Network view.
We have also check we have selected under PXE boot options, Always PXE boot UEFI devices.
I believe the issue is related to Ghosting in the database, but do not know how to investigate this. My guess would be that the MAC address is stored somewhere in the Ivanti database, and cannot be viewed in the console.
We are using Ivanti Management console 2017.1
Our devices are all UEFI with secure boot with UEFI network stack enabled.
We do not experience this issue here in head office.

Ich habe neuerdings das Problem das sich ein gezogenener Treiber nicht installieren lässt. Er versucht den Treiber nach C:\Users\#####\AppData\Local\Temp\PNP5B4.tmp\ zukopieren und von dort aus führt er die .inf aus. Leider existiert Der Ordner aber nicht. Und Manuell den Ordner erstellen bringt auch nix da er sich ständig ändert. Ich habe das mit mehreren Treibern probiert bei allen das selbe. In der Vergangenheit hat das immer funktioniert. Versteh blos nicht warum das jetzt auftritt. Vielleicht hat jemand ne Idee?

We're having some frustrating behavior when trying to schedule repair tasks to push windows updates.
When we create these tasks, they default to policy supported push. We leave the frequency under Task Settings as Run Once, Check Ignore Subsequent requests. Under Schedule, Start now, Repeat every Day, Schedule devices that did not succeed.
In this case, we're seeing Successful devices go back to active randomly over the next few days, when no changes to patch groups were made.
We tried changing this task to push, same settings, but after 20 minutes or so, the task changes to Leave Unscheduled and it does not re-run next day.
Support has not been helpful on giving us a clear answer on if this is a bug or a mistake on our end, we havent found a concrete "best practice" for this method.
(Using 2017.3 SU3)

I have two questions about the service center feature:
1- I do not understand too much what is the difference between pending tab and tasks tab.
2- When I am entering a case after clicking New Case buttom but I want to abort the transaction I do not know how to do that.I can not find a cancell buttom on the screen and I have to delete the case manually after.

I am attempting to convert an existing WSUS server patching strategy to LanDesk.
My current WSUS Server patching strategy has all approved patches downloaded to the server when available and then each server is part of an AD group telling it when its OK to start Automatic updates.
So we have AD group for say "Sunday - 2AM" and "Monday - 5AM" and servers are members of the groups accordingly.
So in LD I created a bunch of different Agent settings to match my AD patch groups and then I apply the appropriate agent setting to each server.
So now I have a test server with its Agent settings listing the maint windows from 6pm to 7pm each night.
I created a repair task and scheduled it to run once at 5pm. when the repair task runs at 5pm, it fails with a return code 491 - Some/All actions have been deferred until the next maintenance window.
I understand this message.
What I expect is that the patches have been downloaded to the server via the agent and then when its 6pm, the agent will start up and install the patches.
However, this is not happening and I'm not sure why?
Is it because I need to run the repair task during the maintenance window? or do I need to have Autofix somehow enabled?
Just not sure why its not doing what I expect it to do.

I am standing up a new 2017.3 SU3 core and will be doing a side by side migration from 9.6 SP2. I want to use the bit defender engine and have followed the getting started community document however I have a few questions.
Here's what was done so far:
License fixed to include Bit Defender
Downloaded Ivanti Antivirus core installation files
Ran avsetup.exe
Created an Ivanti AV 2017 config
With that said, I noticed in the doc that the bit defender agents no longer get definitions from the core with SU3 (i assume they come right from bit defender since you have to whitelist their domain), does this mean I can ignore the Ivanti Antivirus 2017 tab in download updates (the one that specifies how often to get pattern files to the core)?
Since the BD engine is done via a component upgrade task, does this mean I can and should uncheck all the AV options like including the AV in the agent config, scanning for AV updates in the patch scan settings, and in the download updates?
How does the engine get updated if so or does it all come from bit defender?

In my Velocity project Host settings I have Keyboard Visibility set to "Show".
Some screens are purely menu item screens and so the keyboard is not necessary.
Menu screens do have one input field for entering the menu item number instead of tapping the menu item itself.
This is due to the menu screen being a green-screen that is being converted to a modernized screen using predictive formatting and a script on WLEvent.on(ParseScreen) with Session scope.
When we navigate to the screen:
1.) It gets modernized by predictive formatting and the script runs to convert text lines to menu item elements that predictive formatting did not recognize as menu items.
2.) The cursor is positioned to the input field,
3.) The keyboard pops-up.
I tried using Keyboard.toggleVisible(false) in the WLEvent.on(ParseScreen) script but it did not work. I assume Session scope is the wrong place to try to change visibility of the keyboard.
Does someone have a script I could run on Field scope that would hide the keyboard if specific text strings are found on the screen, or is there some other way to accomplish this with scripting?
I don't want to use screen Templates in order to keep future maintenance to a minimum when application screens are added or changed.
