After upgrading to Avalanche 6.2.2.197 we are not able to deploy Telnet packages successfully to our WT41N0 devices. We get an "Unable to complete update" on the device and the status in Avalanche stays "Update Pending". Not sure if this affects the WT4090 as we have not tried that.

Missing Instances from LANDesk Configuration Centre
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas as to why a whole instance of LANDesk would completely disappear from Configuration Center but still be in tact in IIS and fully functional otherwise?

Gather history task runs but ComputerVulnerability table not populated
I am told that the Gather History task runs on a schedule, but I don't have access to see messages or logs.
When I query the ComputerVulnerability table it is empty. That is the correct table right?
Can anyone think of a reason why that may not be getting populated?
I will try to get access to the logs, etc. but that will take some time.
Thanks...Paul
Weekly Patch and Compliance Report - Device Last Update Date Report?
Hello Community, does anyone know how to modify the "Compliance Patch Group" and the "Security Compliance by Device" reports to produce the Weekly Patch Report which was discussed at the following link - Patch Management Reporting Question - Detected Patches by Computer ? I am trying to find a report which will list the date a device was last updated? I would appreciate any information or tips.
Kind Regards,

Can hidden/unused request parameters be removed from Print ServiceReq output?
We have serveral request offerings we have created. In order to make them work correctly, we have hidden parameters to capture validation/linked data. When we print the service request using the built-in "Print ServiceReq" button the output contains all parameters (even the row aligners). Is there a way to remove the ones that are set to hidden from the output? Some parameters are hidden based on values selected in other parameters in the request offering.
Is there an api to run an Automation module/runbook?
I need to call remotely a module/runbook from the Automation Console. Are there any available API calls to accomplish this?
Fail to update data into the SCWStates table. Error:server was unable to process request. Fail to open connection to database.Check credential and privilege details.
The option selected is the Multiple server deployment and the target landscape is staging. Under the Set Up Connection, configuration database server is named configdb_stg and through SQL Authentication. After filling all the required information, when select next to proceed with the Configuration Application, we encountered the error message as stated in the message box.
Please advise on this error as we check the credential privilege it is given the relevant server roles that is dbcreator, public and securityadmin.
Enterprise Production Deployment System Environment
We are confuse after reading the landscape set up in the Ivanti documentation. In the documentation, it was mention Ivanti Service Manager processing server used
for the development (staging) and testing (UAT) landscapes and finally production. The staging is used for development? UAT is arrange after staging.
In a standard common 4-tier architecture deployment is development, testing, staging, production (DEV, UAT, STAGING, PROD). We notice the Ivanti environment do not follow the industry standards?
Create iCalendar item for a task?
Is it somehow possible to create an iCalender item for a Task or even a Service Request?
The reason why I ask this is simply because some of our employees do their personal planning in Microsoft Outlook.
If the get a Task they create an item in their personal Outlook calender to plan their work.
it would be just great if:
a) you could send an icalendar item by E-Mail (for example when someone accepts a Task)
b) to click a button on Task to create this icalender Icon (quick Action)
I didnt found anything about this in admin help and on this community page.
Searchable Document not showing up in Self Service view
I've been editing the forms for the FRS_Knowledge#QandA.ArticleView form and now uploaded attachments (Searchable Documents) will not show up for a Self-Service user. This control is configured the same way as FRS_Knowledge#Patch.ArticleView, and that one works perfectly -- but for QandA it doesn't.
It worked before I edited the form, but the only thing I changed was the position of the control and the label, so I'm not understanding why it won't work.
Has anyone else had this issue, or know what could be causing it?
Thanks,
Tim
Service Manager user portal slow load times, delayed metadata updates
We're having some performance issues with our production Service Manager environment which are only present when users are logged in via the user portal. I do not experience these issues when I am logged in via the admin portal as the same user, even when assigned the same role. What's happening is the system often takes an excessively long time to load a page at log on and after a record is updated and saved, like 20 seconds or so. This does not happen with the admin portal. We have a UI server which is separate from our production application server, so I'm not sure if it could be a misconfiguration or performance problem with the two communicating, but there are no other noticeable issues.
The other issue is when I make metadata changes to a form in production, the changes are not immediately reflected for users logged in via the user portal, but they are reflected if the same user logs in via the admin portal. I made some changes last Friday and the form updates were not reflected in the user portal until some time later, not exactly sure how long because I had left for the day and the updates still were not being reflected. I checked this morning and now the forms reflect the updates.
Anybody have an idea what could cause these types of issues when using a separate UI server?
how to add a filed value using the existing fileds and sum it
I have fields $MAV_MIRTAttributable_min, $MAV_MIRTCust_attributable_min, $MAV_MIRTExternal_Attributable_min in a form.
I need to sum it up all the above values and it should go to another filed MAV_MIRTIncident_duration_min.
How to add it?
Placing web import info into a scheduled activity
When configuring a web import, in addition or instead of the web form info coming into GoldMine as an email, which is then linked to the History tab of the newly created record, can this info also be placed into a scheduled activity, into the Notes section?
I think I know the answer, but before I go back to our customer with the answer, I thought I'd better double-check in case there's a feature I'm not familiar with!
Thank you in advance!

Persistent Notebooks in Onenote 2016 on XA 7.15 / Server 2016
I've had Onenote 2016 personalized for awhile now with no issues in our VDI environment. When i applied the same personalization to my XenApp 2016 servers, Onenote just refuses to remember open notebooks.
It does remember recently opened notebooks but the user does have to manually browse too and open notebooks every session which can be pretty annoying for Onenote users (myself included).
Has anyone else seen this, and or have any ideas?

SLA not running on request management
We have a few SLAs set up within our Service Desk, a few on Incident and one or two on Request - the SLAs on Incident are running without issue.
Our SLAs are different and do completely different things however both run on the same calendar. The request SLA is set up to send reminders to approvers that they have not yet approved a request, as per the image below. For some reason this does not appear to be firing at all - any guidance? It is the default response level on Request using the default calendar.
As the incident SLA is working as normal I know background services are working as expected. We are on version 2017.3.
TIA for any assistance,
Steve
patching to Windows 10 - 1803
I wanted to share a bit of behaviour I noticed with the service pack definitions for Windows 10 1803.
I am currently testing an update process for moving our clients from v1709 to v1803. We have a multi lingual environment, so I have created a custom definition using a clone of the standard patch W10V1803 definition in Patch Manager.
I have customised my ISO image by adding the language packs we require in our build using DISM. I then tested the upgrade by mounting the custom ISO manually and then using the standard setup commands as included in the patch definition, minus the /noreboot switch:
setup /auto upgrade /quiet /dynamicupdate disable
Every time I run this patch manually on a client it works first time.
However, when I try to push the patch out using the custom definition (bearing in mind the script has not been modified from the original W10V1803 definition) I am getting very intermittent results. In many instances, the update appears to run but when the system reboots, nothing happens and it just reboots back in to Windows 1703 with no error prompts or failed update warnings. As far as Ivanti is concerned, I am getting a report that the patch has been successful.
On further investigation I have found that the definition script appears to be finishing before the upgrade has actually completed, causing Ivanti to request a reboot. I monitored one client and could clearly see that the setup.exe and setuphost.exe files were still running in the background.
I notice in the definition there is a time out script:
Option Explicit
Sleep 1800*1000
SetRebootRequired
ReportRepairResult True, "Restart successfully."
I am guessing I will need to modify this script, but I am curious does anyone know why this is included in the definition?
