Dell Optiplex 7060 PXE boot issues.
Hello All,
We just received two Dell Optiplex 7060 PC's. One full size one mini. We are having issues trying to PXE boot them. I've loaded the correct drivers both in 32bit and 64bit WinPE. Sometimes it will boot and image and sometimes it will not even boot into PXE. We tried both Legacy and UEFI boot.
Any Ideas??????

How can we use the Identifier

I would like to know how can I use the Identifier for users i.e. Abdallah.Hamaydeh, If we use the Active Directory "User Login Name" (Abdallah.Hamaydeh) we can log in, other than NO "Employee ID (FDS-006), Mobile..(0561667771), etc" as below screenshot:

Blank start menu Windows 2012 R2 (capture, no roaming profiles)
Hi,
I have a problem with our customers environment.
They are running on Windows 2012 R2 terminal servers and Ivanti Workspace Control 10.3.0.0.
They don't use roaming profiles and capture their start menu tiles with:
File > %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\appsFolder.itemdata-ms
File > %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\appsFolder.itemdata-ms.bak
When users log in their start menu is empty untill they get a workspace refresh, after that they get their tiles back.
It's already on option Load on session start, not on load in background.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Office 365 Click to Run Error: Unable to register O365Util.dll
I can't seem to get any of my endpoints to patch the O365 updates. Have followed the instructions and downloaded the appropriate patches (into the default /patch location, not custom)
One or two machines patched fine but now all of them are failing.

A customer has 6569 users in the Active directory and we need only 5000 End-User So what is the best way to add the 5000 users only.
Scenario is:
We uploaded all the users in Identity directory but not all the users active in the AD, So what is the best way to kick the inactive users?!

Datetime as trigger for delivery or return of a service: what format do I use?
In the latest release (2018.2) of Identity Director it is possible to use DateTime as a trigger for the delivery or return of a service. If I would import the datetime from a CSV file, what format of this datetime should I use? The idea is to disable a user account automatically at a certain date, not with a specific time in mind.

How does Identity Director resolve Requester[DeviceName]
User connects to ID portal from client. Service resolves DeviceName correctly
User connects to ID portal. Portal is behind Citrix NetScaler Global Server Load Balancer. Service resolves DeviceName to GSLB Name and not User device.
Windows client not used/installed.
So, what mechanisim is used for Portal resolving Requester[DeviceName] ? Reverse DNS lookup ? Java Script ? Other ?

Data exchange between Velocity 5250 emulation and other application on Android
We have to create a prove of concept sending data to two fields in a 5250 session. The data wil be delivered by a service running in the background of the android device( Joya Touch)
But I have absolutely no experience concerning Velocity.
I looked at the scripting API guide and found two interesting functions:
Action.launchforResult()
Device.sendKeys()
And it seems possible that a script is triggered if it encounters a certain field
So my question is it at all possible?

MBBScanner has stopped working
Hello,
after upgrading agents to 2017.3, when running inventory scan, many computers experience error MBBScanner has stopped working.
Event viewer shows the following:
It has not happened on my test machines. So far I have disabled the Scheduled scan, but this is not a solution.

Question about patch deployment strategy and rollout project
Hi everyone,
I'm a little bit confused so i'm going to quickly explain my problem and ask for advices.
I configured the definitions download to only donwload MS critical patches into the "Scan (global)" folder.
I then created a rollout project which works this way:
- Patches/definitions are downloaded daily and added to the rollout project.
- First step of the project is to scan and fix all the workstations of the IT staff (about 10 workstations). When exit criteria is reached, we go to step 2.
-Step two: we scan and apply the patches to a larger group (40-50 workstations). After let's say one or two days if everything is ok i'd like to tag my patches with autofix so that all the others workstations of the network will be patched is necessary.
My problem (and question) is that all the definitions stay in the same folder : "Scan (Global) which means that this folder will becomes bigger and bigger and that workstation will always be scan for definitions from the previous days or weeks.
Should i first keep the definitions i download into a personalized folder as unassigned and then, later, move them into the "scan (global)" folder so every day or weeks the rollout project will only use "fresh definitions" ?
I mean will it be a problem if i just keep the definitions into the "Scan (global)" ?
Does it means that the rollout project wil alway use all the definitions from this folder are only the newly downloaded?

Allow manager to view staff requests?
Is it possible, and allowed in the licensing, to allow a self-service user to see records other users have submitted? For example, showing a request in the my items list for the customer and alternate contact (Reported by).
