Patches not installing on Server

Hi,

 

bin gerade am Patchen einiger 2016er Server, läuft bisher einwandfrei nur bei 2 Servern hab ich nun das Problem, dass diese nicht weiter patchen wollen.

Im Log taucht das hier auf:

Hab jetzt den DSM Client und die Patchengine neu installiert, Server mehrmals neu gestartet. Will nicht.

Hat das schon mal jemand gehabt?

Insert Multi Child Workflow Block Help

Greetings!

 

On my ISM v2018.x platform, I need to search for employee objects from a FRS_Approval workflow because I need to find the right approver(s) in the context for creating FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking child objects in the workflow for an approval process. The FRS_Approval workflow would be triggered by a Request Offering fulfillment workflow.

 

Apparently I should use "Insert Multi Child" workflow block in the FRS_Approval workflow because I may have multiple qualified approvers, but the workflow would only create one FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking object (like the following), although I set to have two qualified approvers in my testing. I thought the block would figure out there are multiple owners and therefore would create multiple child objects? Could anybody elaborate how the block works? I don't see the details from the Online Help.

I also tried to use "Run for Search" block to invoke a workflow to create the FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking objects, but I didn't figure out a way to insert a "derived" search value, which is from the service request being submitted, into a "Saved Search" the "Run for Search" block needs. I thought about saving the value to a service request field in order for the "Saved Search" to be able to search the results based on the derived value, but it seems not working.

 

I would greatly appreciate any input! Thank you.

Change Calendar Functionality

Hello,

 

Has anyone out there had any luck using the Service Desk Change Calendar? When we create new Change records they show in the calendar, but the calendar items themselves seem completely independent of the associated change record. This causes some aggravation when a change gets rescheduled but the calendar item does not reflect the change. Right now we are managing them separately and it is a very manual process (Also very unpopular). I have attempted to use window copy rules to move the new date from the Change record to the Calendar entry, but have never gotten this to work. Has anyone been able to get these to work together in a meaningful way? I would love to hear any solutions other folks are using. Thanks!

Task OwnerTeam - Parent sensitive list

Hello,

 

As we roll out modules across our company we needed to further restrict our OwnerTeam lists for each module.

 

For example, Accounting may handle an Incident or Service Request (I/SRs), but not a Change. Facilities may have Knowledge articles and Changes but not I/SRs.

 

To StandardUserTeam we have added Booleans to indicate when a Team can be the OwnerTeam of an object. Each moduels OwnerTeam field has a picklist looking at these Boolean values for inclusion in the list. This is working very well.

 

THE PROBLEM - TASK

In Task we have a more complicated problem. Since Task is a child of other modules we also want to restrict Task ownership using similar Boolean values.

 

Similar to above, Accounting may own an Incident but never own the task. Other combinations exist depending the extent a Team uses ISM.

 

QUESTION

Is it possible to create a single picklist for Task OwnerTeam that knows the context of the Parent (ParentLink_Category) or the existence of a relationship and can match that with corresponding checkbox on the team record.

 

Example 1 : Task being created under Incident.

Show all teams where the Boolean is True for: "Team Owns Incident Tasks".

 

Example 2 : Task being created under Change.

Show all teams where the Boolean is True for: "Team Owns Change Tasks".

DSM 2018.1 - internal Windows Server 2019 Support - wann?

Habe soeben die erste Installation der finalen Windows Server 2019 Version mit DSM vorgenommen.

In Ermangelung des entsprechenden Supports in DSM habe ich einfach unsere Server 2016 Pakete kopiert und im OS Package die Sourcen getauscht.

Jetzt wäre es halt klasse wenn DSM das OS erkennen würde und man auch Pakete flaggen und Abfragen damit machen könnte.

Wann ist denn damit zu rechnen? Ist ja so, daß Microsoft schon lange Beta's verteilt hat und man diese zur Entwicklung hätte nutzen können.

The latest documentation shows support for 10.13 and the current client on 10.14 is a bit patchy as to whether they appear in the Discovery database or not

i want to send reports in web-desk through mail within the workflow

 

for example :

I have request user fill his information , and i create report using Report button, in ticket.

i want when he click on send a reminder will attach that report and send it as email . automatically

 

how can this be done ? without download then attache the report.

Dear All,

             We have requested for WAP G4 interstitial browser issue that still there is no permanent solution. Please check the previous conversion in this is the case id (01441798). We have tried with Omni xt15”WLTE_PSI_OMNII_CE6_LANG_7_3_303_AS" to WAP G4 device, after installation we had tested this application we found the issue, when we type any characters latter that come with three time for example : if we type "a" that is coming three time "aaa". Please do the needful.

Mobile Form Layout - Announcement

Hi All

 

I'm hoping the following is a quick fix.

 

I'm finalizing our SelfService Mobile portal and noticed that when I open an Announcement, there is no white background.  This makes the article difficult to read with the required wallpaper we need to use.

I have tried various font colours, but having a white background on the Announcement will look best.  If I open a knowledge article, there is a white background.

It has the values like S,M,L etc when we set it and click OK. It jsut refreshes the URL and then shows up same default values as M.

Best Practice for Personalized Settings (Profile Creation).

Upon first logon, when Windows 10 is creating the user profile "Personalized Settings", applications are being denied.

 

I've been able to figure out which applications are installing during the profile creation and have created rules to allow these installation but... but wonder if there is a easier way of doing this?  What's best practice for doing so?

Exporting Xtraction bar graphs

HI There,

 

We've just upgraded to Xtraction 2018.3. Whenever I export a bar graph it does not maintain the minimum and maximum Y axis values I have set. As an example within Xtraction I have a graph that looks like this:

 

 

However when I export it the Y axis is cut off just above the highest value.

 

 

Is there any way to prevent this from happening so the Y values I have set are maintained?

2018.1 - PXE Rep Agent Missing Services

We are moving from 2017.3 to 2018.1. We configure a windows agent with the PXE stuff turned on. We deploy these agents to specific devices and all other devices do not have them turned on. This way self electing subnet services can only elect these specific devices to serve as the PXE rep.

 

After recompiling the agents, ensuring the SESS PXE was turned on for the subnet, we noticed that the device was missing the 2 services required to act as a PXE rep. We reinstalled twice and the services did not return. We also checked the registry to make sure it was not marked as being in an error state and the score for this device was already at 100.

 

There is something broken with the agent install, which is failing to install the required services. Everything I have checked so far has not led to a root cause of the failure.

Modifying screens

Hi all,

I've been working with the Velocity Console to modify the screens of our TE software. But I'm not having much luck doing so.

 

Essentially, I'm trying to modify this:

 

To look something like this with touch screen buttons:

 

I've been working on this thing for a long time now and I have made very little progress. I'm in need of assistance. No matter what modifications I've made, I can't get my screen to change at all except for changing the foreground and background colors.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've been looking online and in this forum for info but I have not had much luck yet.

Thank you for creating https://help.ivanti.com/ht/help/en_US/ISM/2018/user/Content/Configure/LogIn/Log_In_Using_URLs.htm  and How To: Write a URL that searches multiple fields at once in a given workspace using JoinRules .

 

However, I'm stuck.  I want to use the "In List" condition in my url, but I can't figure it out.  Could someone either let me know how, or add more examples to the linked document above?
