Has anyone looked into or been successful at some kind of integrating automation of Xtraction tasks. Wonder if it is possible to create accounts, schedule reports and such without actually having to login to the application.

Create Note through XSLT
Hi everyone,
Have anyone managed to create a Note form an incoming email through XSLT? I'm half way. It manages to set some values, but not all of them like 'Category' and 'NotesBody'. The plan is to trigger an outgoing email for all incoming emails with certain parameters. And I want to track the progress based on the notes created.

wir haben aktuell vier Maschinen bei denen der Scan keine neuen Sicherheitslücken findet. Somit auch keine Patche mehr verteilt. Wir haben vier weitere Maschinen die identisch konfiguriert sind, bei denen noch alles funktioniert. Letzter Erfolgreicher Scan und Patchinstallation war um den 20.10. seither funktioniert das ganze nicht mehr.
die ScanForVulnerabilities_DSMRuntime_xxxx.log sind überschaubar kurz und liefern folgenden Inhalt:

In den Assessment.xxx.logs finden, folgende Fehlermeldung:

wir vermuten, dass das ungültige Zeichen die Ursache ist. Hätte jemand von euch eine Idee, welche Datei gemeint sein könnte? Oder eher ein Fall für den Support?

Laut Console hat das Paket die Rev. 176, im Distributionsstatus wird überall die 175 angezeigt, auch im Master Depot.
Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich diesen Fehler beheben kann?

APM Schwierigkeiten DSM 2018.1
Hallo zusammen,
Wir haben vor einiger Zeit DSM auf 2018.1 geupdatet bisher auch keine nennenswerte Probleme. Allerdings habe ich nach dem Update schon früh festgestellt das das APM nicht mehr das macht was es soll. Sämtliche Ausnahmen und Parameter werden ignoriert. Das APM lädt halt wirklich alles runter was er so findet. Was mich am meisten stört sind Pakete (proofing tools z.b) in allen erdenklichen Sprachen. Auch wenn ich eine Ausnahme für ne Kategorie setzte ignoriert er das einfach. Mittlerweile führt das dazu das ich täglich Patches lösche. (Die er dann anschließend wieder neu runterlädt) Unser Master-Depot ist nun über 1 TB groß und es wächst immer weiter. Leider haben wir zudem massiven Platzmangel auf allen Depots so das bei einigen gar nix mehr geht. Und leider ist das alles dem APM zu verschulden. Mir bringt das ganze halt gar nix mehr wenn ich nichts mehr steuern kann. Bin schon am überlegen ob ich es löschen soll und neu anlege. Oder hat noch irgendjemand ne Idee?

Question on ISM UI Server in DMZ with database connection

I am working on ISM architecture, so I have plan to deploy ISM UI server in DMZ and ISM Processing server in Internal Zone. However, I found that ISM UI in DMZ has the connection to database server resided in Internal zone, and my customer do not allow any connection from DMZ to database server.
So, please help to recommend the ISM architecture which consist of the following criteria.
1. User can access ISM from Internet
2. Do not allow any ISM connection from DMZ to database server.

ISM Web Server in DMZ
Hello All
I have a Question
i have 2 web servers and 2 app server and a backened DB in my local network and 1 webservers in my DMZ
i use heat.app.com to access the internal solution and use heat1.app.com to access the application via the DMZ and external users as well
I hav been able to remove the application tab from the internal url heat.app.com using the alternate login on configdb tenant
The login page heat1.app.com on the webserver on the DMZ keeps prompting me to select either ConfigDB or Gold which is the second tenant. How can i remove or default the login page to Gold .

Using an Internal CA SSL Cert
So rather than pay a bunch of money to buy a specific SSL Cert for our CSA, our Security Team suggested using an SSL Cert signed by our Internal CA. Has anyone done this before and gotten it to work?
I created the CSR from the CSA then sent that to our Server Team and they generated a certificate signed by our own internal CA. I had them send me the cert with the full Certificate Chain (if I open it in Notepad++ it has 3 sections with separate Begins and Ends).
It applied successfully to the CSA and it looks similar to other screenshots I've seen of CSAs with certificates, but if we HTTPS: into it from a Domain joined PC it still comes up as untrusted - which it shouldn't do as our domain joined PCs already have the certificates from our Internal CA?
Oh and we are running CSA version 4.4.1-505.20180829.1244

How do I set permission of Incidents to be viewable by currently assigned analyst?
My goal is to make a "landing page" for a specific kind of incident that will have sensitive information in it.
From that "landing page" the analyst will have to assign the incident to themselves in order to view that information.
I am thinking that this will be a round about way to keep a log of analysts who have viewed the information in the history column.
But I need to have it set that when each user looks at that ticket and doesn't have it assigned to themselves that they are unable to view any of the information.
Basically this, but in Service Desk.
Any ideas???

I thought Outlook didn't need to be open to link sent emails from other devices?
GoldMine v2018.2
- Customer uses GoldMine as their email client for sending and retrieving.
- They want to link emails sent from their devices - smartphone, email web client, etc.
- I setup the Outlook add-in to auto link Sent emails only and place them in the contact's history and Sent folder in the Email Center.
- When the user comes back into the office and opens GoldMine, I'm expecting the sent emails to start linking.
- I have this setup for myself, but I manually link any emails I sent outside the office.
- This customer has POP email connection; I have IMAP.
- I tested this scenario by changing my Outlook add-in to auto link sent emails.
- However, when I get back into the office and launch GoldMine, I don't see my sent emails coming into GM until I open Outlook.
I know GoldMine doesn't have to be open for emails to link when in Outlook, but does Outlook have to be open for sent emails from a phone to link to GoldMine?

Delete registry key not working.
Hello,
I have an Appsense/Ivanti Workspace Manager question. I am trying to delete the following key from our user's registry at logon: HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UFH\SHC. For some reason it will not work and it is driving me crazy. It does work with group policy but I really want to get it working via Environment Manager. I have attached screenshots. I have tried placing this at both the pre-desktop and desktop-created level. I can see in the event log that the task completes but the key is still there.

How to keep the initial CreatedDateTime field value in Service Request
Has anyone else noticed that when you save a service request for the first time, the createddatetime field gets updated to the current time (not the date/time displayed when you clicked on the new button), even if you spent some number of minutes authoring the new request.
From what I can tell, it seems to run the initialization rules twice, once when you click on the new button, and then again when you save it. This is a different behavior when compared to Incident or Email. Those objects seem to retain the createddatetime field value when you click on new and then save.
I am using 2016.2.1 on premise. Does anyone know of a workaround? I contacted support and they suggested adding an if to the initialization rule and only set it to currentdatetime when it is null. But that did not work.
