Can we add Survey to other Objects/modules like Knowledge management module in Service Manager? The default is for incident and Service request in Service manager . I've tried to build the same relationship (as shown in the below image) in knowledge but I was not able to find identifier field.

wir haben zwei neue Notebooks erhalten (Dell Precision 3530 / 7730) die mir leider etwas Probleme bereiten.
Anfangs scheiterte die Installation aufgrund fehlender Treiber im Bootenvironment. NW und Storage Treiber (I219 und Intel Rapid Storage) habe ich hinzugefügt, Installation startet nun wie gewohnt.
Allerdings Endet der Installationsprozess bei beiden Geräten nach "Getting ready" in folgenden Error:
The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installion.
Verteilt wird noch die 1709.
DSM Version: 2017 - 7.04.000.4329
Eine normale Windowsinstallation mittels USB Stick funktioniert problemlos.
Wäre für jeden Tipp dankbar.

We are currently getting new hardware into our IVANTI EPM environment.
We want to prefill some database values before any Inventory Scan has been run. Why? We have some OSD condition based on Computer Model (Found in Computer > System > Model.
But the system value is not present when adding bare metal devices through their MAC address.
Any idea how to prestage the device with that value filled?
When running a package there is the escript function "CheckInstallMode()"
But now I need this mode (install/reinstall) of a calling package. I can access pretty much anything using %CallingPolicyInstance% but seem to be unable to access the install mode.
Is it possible to get it somehow?

seit dem wir wieder von PL auf APM umgestiegen sind bekommen wir keine FileZilla Updates mehr. Es kommt zwar im Catalog und das Grundpaket wird erstellt, aber das Patch wird nicht geladen und somit keine Policy erstellt usw.
Bei Shavlik habe ich das gefunden und könnte mir das als Ursache vorstellen https://community.shavlik.com/docs/DOC-24607 (Da sieht man den Unterschied zu PL, die soweit ich es ja verstanden habe, Patches selber packt, während APM original Dateien benutzt.
In dem Dokument oben wird dieser Link angegeben https://community.shavlik.com/docs/DOC-24407 welches beschreibt, wie man Patches manuell (in Shavlik for Windows) einbaut. Frage ist wie macht man das in APM?
Werde das trotzdem als BUG melden, das sowas von APM gefixt werden bzw. umgangen werden muss.

Hi,
we are using APM to deploy patches to our clients. This did work very well over the last two yours, but since beginning of the week the service installer is stuck while rolling out patches form APM on all clients.
Symptoms:
This issue is not related to any specific patch form APM, different clients are stuck on different patches.

We are having an issue where some of our users that are migrating to Windows 10, Office 2013 Ivanti/AppSense Environment Manager version 10 fr4 cant use search functions in Outlook. When they try they basically get no results. I have as a test for a couple of users stopped the service -->Ivanti User Virtualization Manager. Launched outlook on their devices (these are physical boxes) and the search functions work fine. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
I need to hide / Restrict user from seeing values on the Pick List statue on Incident
But the issue is in other places lick when creating external task , i need to change the status of the ticket to Pending Vendor
By using the validation on the pick list , and create external task , it give me that the status (pending vendor ) is not on the validation list
it should be another way , right ? to not showing it on the list but it works when needed on other places
So in EM 2018.3 a new feature was released... Enhanced Encryption to „Run AS“ and „connect As“ functionality.

Is there anyway to make a "clean" implementation without converting .pfx files to .b64 files and storing all the necessary information in a textfile?

We are using avalanche wavelink 6.1 on windows server 2016 with SQL Server 2008 and have some issues with the logon to the web application.
After entering the credentials some users are not forwarded to inventory.jsf
For other users it works fine, even on the same PC, so you can logon to the web Plattform on one machine with a user and with another user not.
We did modify dbo.users to delete passwords and change the logged_in column to 0 for the users not beeing able to logon.
But this only solved the problem once and is not working always.
Does anybody have a solution for that?

We've got Appsense Environment Manager 2018.3 installed on Server 2016 with XenApp 7.15.
I'm trying to mount a VHD for Outlook Office 365 OST caching.
I've followed the instructions in the KB below verbatim, but finding that the test users directory is created on the share, with correct FC permissions, but the VHD is simply is not being created.

I don't see any event logs explaining the issue. And permisisons are correct on the share.
Anyone ever seen this or can advise how ot debug further?

According to the Ivanti Workspace Control Administration Guide (2018), "for the connection between a Workspace Control Agent (RES service) and a Relay Server, and between Relay Servers, custom certificates may be used." However, after setting REG_SZ CustomCertificate registry keys in HKLM\Software\RES\Workspace Manager\RelayServer with the value of CustomCertificate on my RES Consoles, Relays, and Agents, and installing a signed certificate in the Personal certificate store of each system, the Agents cease communicating with the RES Relays, even though the Relays continue to communicate with the RES Console. I used a web type of certificate and installed it in the Personal certificate store using the certificates mmc snap-in. Am I using the wrong type of certificate or is there something else I could be missing? Perhaps I am misunderstanding the instructions as they are explain in the Administration Guide. :/ Any assistance or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

we have four possible configurations for the endpoint security agent which are set by policy and LDAP targeting.
In the LDAP groups, the users are maintained according to the authorization.
We want to ensure that the endpoint security agent settings are set as quickly as possible after logging on to a client.
Unfortunately, the MobileDevices also receive corresponding guidelines and cannot process them, of course.
Owing to this fact, the MobileDevices no longer process the guidelines actually intended for this purpose.
How can we exclude the MobileDevices from the addressing and still guarantee a fast and not inventory based compliance?

I am currently migrating to EPM 2018.3 with a side-by-side migration. I chose to start fresh instead of using our existing database. One of the changes I'd like to make is using HTTP for all packages instead of a combination of HTTP/UNC. Since Mac packages require HTTP and the CSA does as well, it seems to make the most sense.
Are there any caveats to only using HTTP?
Currently, the default HTTP settings leave everything accessible to any user on our network. Although users can't install software, they could easily find information that they shouldn't, such as license keys. Is there a recommended way to make this more secure without causing problems during package and patch deployment?
