Data import schedulke started working

Hello,

 

ever since I started working on LANDesk I had been advised that the 'scheduling' of data imports was disabled and any imports were always performed manually - this has worked well until now.

 

Our LANDesk hosting site upgraded the SAN last weekend after which the 'scheduling' of Data Imports kicked in which caused a bit of confusion and extra work.

 

Can anyone tell me how this may have happened?

 

Could it be that the Data Import service was not running previously OR that the account running the Data Import suddenly gained the relavant permissions to the excel file folder?

 

Is there a set configuration (created by the consultants) that disables the scheduling?

 

Sebastien from LANDesk connected to our App Server this morning to investigate this but could not determine the cause.
