Incident Ref on a data import

Hello,

does anyone know what would happen if we started importing some Incident records from a spreadsheet into an already-populated database?

I'm not sure what I would need to do with the Incident Reference number as part of the import data.

Would I need to hard-code these values to a number beyond the latest sequence number in the database or would the import handle the automatic allocation of the Incident Reference number as part of the import.

I plan on giving both options a try in DEV but I wanted to check what the best option was,
