Just had our first report back from UAT for 7.4.
One of the few things it fared very badly on is the Window design layout. As users of WebDesk 7.3 we knew these would be tricky so had put off working on them.
However we are having even greater problems than we did with 7.3!
Does anyone know how we can get fields to align and size correctly? When squashed down to a minimum (800x640) they look kind of OK, but all of our staff have monitors of at least 1200 width.
For example, on our WebDesk incident window we have aligned every field perfectly and sized all of them (using the positioning values - not just relying on drag and drop).
Yet the end result is as attached, and I can understand how our users would consider this too unprofessional.
For example the Auto and SLA fields are identical in size, alignment, element type etc, yet render as differemt lengths, whatever we seem to do.
The left alignment of both the label and field for Details is identical to the alignment for User etc, yet will NOT align on WebDesk.
