Xtraction und DSM 2017

Hi Leute,

 

hat sich hier schon Jemand mit dem Xtraction beschäftigt? Ich habe jetzt eine Installation am laufen und habe es auch schon erfolgreich über den Connector mit dem DSM verheiraten können.

 

Leider kann ich nirendswo vorgefertigte Dashboards finden... Laut dem Whats new in der DSMC solltes es die aber geben:

 

In der Connector zip Datei sind viele Dashboards für die anderen Ivanti Produkte enthalten, aber nicht für DSM:

 

 

Hat die schon Jemand gefunden? Leider ist das Xtraction doch relativ komplex und nicht ohne Vorkenntnisse kaum möglich anspruchsvolle Dashboards zu bauen.

Ich hab die Frage im Xtraction Forum schon geposted, aber da kommt leider keine Antwort.

 

Vielleicht gibs ja hier schon Kollegen die sich das Produkt genauer angeschaut haben

Install ivanti2017.3 - Datamart Faild

Hi every one,

I try to install Ivanti2017.3 on my virtual machine. First, i use Window Server 2012 R2 but it faild at "Configuring Datamart" Step. I continue try with Window server 2016. But it still stuck at same step.

Response level don't change on assignment

Hello all,

 

I field up my response agreements like this:

It's quite simple, we have 3 Incidents Urgency, but we also have different calendar type depend of the group. Support group is 24/7 and other groups are working 8am-5pm. Priority 1-3 use 24/7 calandar and priority 4-6 use 8am-5pm calandar. So far so good.

 

The only problem, is my response level change when I change the Incident Urgency, but not when the current assignment group is changed. So when support change assignment to another group, let say System, the priority stay the same.

 

I would like that every time current assignment is changed, the response level follow the agreement rule set up in the service level management.

 

Anyone can help me on this one?

Hi, I'm implementing a new ISM project for our company, so, we need to import a huge list of Customer (Companies in reality) and then, we need to associate any "Employ" (or Users) that can open Incident from his Company (our Customer). For example: - I have a Customer (Company in reality) called "Comp1" - when an employee of Comp1 (our Customer) open an Incident (with an email) we need to create this employee in our ISM system and associate it as a employee (user) of Comp1. What kind of business object can I use to create out Customer (company in reality .. as Comp1)? ... and, what kind of business object can I use to create employee (employee of Comp1) in my ISM? NB: every month, we need to retrieve a list of all open and resolved incidents for any Company (our customer).... so, we need to retrive every Incident of every employee that belongs to every of our customer (Companies). Environment Variable Expansion

Hi,

 

We are currently seeing an issue whereby an environment variable set in 'Logon' trigger is not expanded in a later node. We set a PFILES86 variable depending on the device architecture. This is set in 'Logon', Environment.

 

A shortcut deployed to the users desktop uses this variable in the target path, this is set to occur after explorer.exe starts.

 

Intermittently, the shortcut can be created as:

 

C:\%PFILES86%\....

 

When checking the users environment variables on the device, we can see that the PFILES86 variable is set correctly.

 

I am trying to understand if what is being experience is a result of a race condition. i.e. PFILES86 being set after the shortcut is created. The reason for this thinking is that this is intermittent. It may be created correctly one day, but the next it will not.

 

What is the different between setting an Environment variable in 'Logon', Environment, as opposed to setting the variables in a node / node group within the 'Logon' trigger in terms of time of processing?

 

Could we assume that the Environment variables are the first thing above all other actions which occurs?

 

I understand that AppSense should "pause" the Logon until all Logon actions are completed, is it at all possible that these actions could over run?

 

We are using AppSense Environment Manager 8.3 & Agent 8 FR3 (Build 267)

Has the ability to connect to Workspaces been intentionally removed from 2018.0?

The 2018 version seems to have removed the settings for Identity Server, removing the option of connecting into Workspaces.

Considering this is in the documentation, can we confirm this is an oversight? And if so when is it likely to be fixed?

 

Also despite the download page saying it should work, the installer still doesn't allow installation onto the same server as Service Desk. Again I assume this probably an oversight.

Unable to obtain a lock on drive C: popup message

Running LDMS 9.6 SP3

When imaging a Windows 10 UEFI computer through Bare Metal when it gets to laying down the image I get a popup about can't get a lock on c and it goes on to say that something has it open. I choose Ignor.

Is anyone else getting this popup?

Change default icon for Portal Manager

I have just upgraded the core server to 2017.3 and will be pushing out the updated agent.  I am planning on including Portal Manager with the agent, but want to do a bit of customization. 

 

I have been through the Portal Manager agent settings and testing this out on my development server.  Changing the "Taskbar icon" shows what I want it to look like on the taskbar when I preview it.  But, when I save the changes and push it out to a client, the original icon will appear on the taskbar when the Portal Manager is launched.  Also, the icon for the desktop shortcut remains the original one.

I have done an agent uninstall with /forceclean and reinstalled the agent from the core with wscfg32.exe, but no joy.

 

How can I get this to push out the agent settings the way I want them?  Also, does changing the taskbar icon also change the icon of the shortcut that gets put on the desktop?

Howdy, This patch has been trying to deploy and failing every time.

I'm deploying it to Windows 10 1709 Enterprise x64 machines, it fails being deployed via Ivanti Patch, and if I try to install the patch locally it says it does not apply to the machine. 

This is the specific patch that is failing:

  • windows10.0-RS3-kb4074608-x64-RS3.msu

 

Anyone else having this problem?

Service Manager configuration - loading application database extremely slow

We're deploying Ivanti Service Manager 2017.2 on-prem and experiencing a strange issue when creating and loading the application database. We had gone through the install previously, but had to blow it away and re-installed SQL 2014 on our DB servers as well and this didn't happen the first time. In the Service Manager Application screen, after clicking the "Load Application Database" button, the progress during the "Executing 11.SystemData.sql" phase is moving extremely slowly, like it looks like it's going to take at least 24 hours to complete. The first time we went through this process it took about an hour beginning to end. Server resources are not an issue, and nothing on the servers has changed other than an uninstall and re-install of the Service Manager application on the application servers and SQL on the DB servers. We have an enterprise deployment with a UI server, processing server and separate DB server for production, and the same for stage/UAT.

I am trying to create a chart that shows the number of LDSD Changes created by Month vs the number of Changes closed by Month.

I'm able to show these in two separate charts, but I was wondering if there is a way to show these in the same chart?

When submitting a Service Offering with an attachment that creates a child object, A Change Request.  I would like the Attachment to move to the Change Request too.  I haven't found a rollup scenario in relationships to accomplish this.

XSLT Help - Email Listener

Hello All,

 

I am in need of assistance with building an xsl file for an email listener I am configuring. I am very close (with help from a template) but stumped on one section. I am needing the listener to create the service request based on the name of a person from which the email defines by "Custid="user_name". Currently the xsl file I am working with creates the service request from who the email is sent.

 

An example of what the file is current doing would be: I send an email from the account jdoe@example.gov. The ticket will be created under the name John Doe because John Doe has a user account in our system.

 

If I was to send an email from sharepoint@example.gov, no tickets is created because there is no associated account for SharePoint in our system. The email that the requests will be coming from will be like this example though, so the ticket needs to be created based on a parameter in the email. An example of the incoming email for reference would be:

From this email, I need the xsl file to pick out Custid=jdoe, parse that information, and then create the service request in the name of John Doe. "jdoe" is John Doe's user name in our system for clarification.

 

I have attached the Main xslt file (main_xslt.txt) and the Service Request xsl file (SR_import.xsl) I am working with to try and accomplish this. Everything else in these files is working to my expectation, we are just focusing on the ticket creation based on "Custid" for this post.

 

My best guess is modifications to the section below from the SR_import.xsl file will need to be made, but I am not sure:

Can't Translate Statuses

Hi All,

 

I'm Translating our system right now to have another language. I translated widows, queries, actions and everything however, I not able translate statuses. I tried to translate statuses by right click status after deactivate the process and then go to localise but unfortunately its disabled and does not allow me to translate to any language, in addition I tried to go to business objects in processes then expand the business object then status > properties but the same appear here as its disabled and disallow me to add any language. I have attached the screenshot shows the same.

 

By knowing, Im using Landesk service desk version 2016.2
