Lieblingsthema UEFI

Hallo,

 

folgendes Problem:

 

Ein neuer HP Elite Rechner hat per Default UEFI eingestellt. Habe nur die Bootreihenfolge geändert. Das WIN PE hat neue Netzwerkkartentreiber bekommen. Installiert werden soll Windows 10.

Nach dem PXE Boot wird die Partitionierung und Formatierung ausgeführt, dann startet die Windows Installation und diese wird nach kurzer Zeit mit dem Fehler 31 abgebrochen.

 

Da ist auf die Schnelle keine Lösung gefunden habe, habe ich das BIOS auf Legacy umgestellt. Die Installation läuft ohne Probleme durch. Wenn ich jetzt eine Reinstallation durchführt, dann bleibt die

Installation wieder mit dem ReturnCode 31 stehen.

 

Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit ein identisches Problem. Nachdem wird GPT gelöscht haben, liefen alle Installation durch. Aber das kann ja nicht die Lösung sein.

 

Kennt das Problem jemand und hat vielleicht auch eine Lösung dafür?

How can I display notes on Self Service?

I´m trying to display the notes made by the self service user and the ones made by the service desk analyst on the self service portal any ideas how can I accomplish this?

Any status update made to the ticket I want it to display it on the following form, I had added the journal field to the form but I havent had any luck.

Filter being applied after tab closure - All modules

Hi all

 

Slight issue we are facing with the modules.

 

When someone filters from the main list view, then closed the tab and opens the module again, the filter is still being applied.

 

This is particularly frustrating to the Service Desk as they are receiving "no record found" when opening a new tab.

 

Any idea on why this is and how to remove it?

Hallo Liebes Enteoforum,

ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen, da Herr Dr. Google mich nicht mehr weiterbringt...

Bei der OS-Installation tritt bei den Post OSActions der Fehler auf:

"task-status: 12 [0x0000000C] {error: The access code is invalid.}"

Danach Failed die Installation :l

Assign Tasks on Date Specified

Working on an outbound form that is heavily customized.

 

The request I have is that when HR puts in an effective date, can the system wait and send the task on that date?

We need to hold licenses for a specified time as well, so I am hoping to not trigger the task to reclaim until that date hits.

 

Does that make sense?

in the Patch and Compliance, I do not see any patch related to the Skype App (I can see the desktop and the Business versions).

 

Just to be sure: is this kind of Skype version managed via Windows Store only ?

Erfahrungen DSM 2018.1

Hallo zusammen,

 

ich möchte mit dem Thread den Austausch anstoßen zur DSM 2018.1. Ist ja sehr ruhig hier was diese Version betrifft.

 

Bisher haben wir nur wenige Umgebungen auf diese Version upgedatet. Hier die bisherigen Auffälligkeiten:

 

  1. In einer Umgebung funktionieren die Ausschlüsse von Patchen nicht über die definierten Kategorien. Call ist offen.
  2. In einer Umgebung lieferte der Update Manager bei den Management Points immer Timeout. Update hat jedoch funktioniert. Wir mussten nur händisch überprüfen ob das Update funktioniert hat. Hat soweit auch alles funktioniert. Call ist offen.

 

Ansonsten sind die ganze DSMC Anzeigefehler aus der DSM 2017 behoben. Und auch sonst funktioniert die DSM 2018.1 bisher sehr gut.

 

Bitte teilt uns auch eure Erfahrungen mit dieser Version.

New calls via e-mail not being logged

Version:  ITSM Service Management 7.2

 

I have a strange issue were new calls are not being logged in Service Management.  When a call is submitted via e-mail, ITSM pulls it from the mailbox and deletes (which it is setup to do).   It also copies the e-mail and attachments to the file server location specified, but nothing is logged, I have rebooted the database and application server and checked space issues but all seems fine.

 

I am at a loss for what else to check?  If anyone as any ideas I would very much appreciate it.

Hello

 

I got the following error in BO external contact after clicking on address (in 2017.3, only with german language):

".... not enough cosing parenthesis."

 

Support confirms bug, but development has no time until more customers have the same problem.

 

 

So I had a look how o fix this:

in BO external contact

quick Action "get address popup view"

1. I deletet the "Address1State (State)" line (I dont need US states)

2. go to edit translations, in the line Country, change the german translation "aus" back to "of" plus quotes and comma

should look like this

I'm using HEAT 2016.1.1000.16119

 

I have a composite action within a Service Request that I would like to prompt that user on whether or not they would like to run a quick action within the same Service Request BO. I currently setup the composite action to execute a workfow to run said quick action but it does so without prompting.

Audit History Questions: 1. how to audit link fields? 2. how to audit child-objects?

Hi there

 

I have two Questions and hope you can help me.

 

1. I want to Audit a Link field on BO CI

I was not able to reach this goal. When I try to Change the Link field to be autited, I get the following error:

 

Relationship is already audited, but I don't get any entries in Audit History when this relationship changes:

 

2. I want to Audit a linked Child Object

 

We implemented a Checkbox "ProtectionObject" for our CIs. If activated, a Child Object called "Threat" will be linked to the CI.

What I want is, that if an audited Field on a Threat-Object changes, the Audit Entries will also be shown on CI Audit History.

Any ideas?

im Patchlink fehlt bzw. ist das lt. MS angekündigte W10 1803 Feature Upgrade nicht sichtbar - ist das ein Fehler?

(soll ja lt. MS im WSUS vorhanden sein, seit 08.05.18)

 

Im Forum habe ich einen ähnlichen Beitrag gefunden: "Re: W10V1803 Patch " welcher aber nicht für DSM ist - könnte es sich hier um die gleiche Thematik handeln?

Upgrade System to 2017.3 doesn't work

In the step 5 of the System Configuration Wizard, when I click on the first Upgrade System button, and insertin HEATAdmin user and psw, I Have this kind of error:

 

Where could I see the log or something about this error? Any suggestions?

Is this "actually" possible? 2018.1 Self Service Portal

The 2018.1 Release is coming, and we want to use it as an opportunity to revamp our HOME Portal Page to coincide w/ the revamp of the Catalog.

We really like the demo given in the webinar, and want to duplicate it to some extent. The problem is I've tried EVERYTHING I can think of to

replicate this, and the tools are the exact same as they always were, and I can't get the LOGO to show up on top like this. There is no option in the

widget configurations to allow for it. I even went so far as to try an HTML <img src="image"> in the Source of the data source, but it just eats it

when you save.

 

Has anyone tried and succeeded at this? If not can someone from IVANTI please reach out to me and help?

Workspace Upgrade Failed: access refused

Hi,

I want to upgrade Workspace Control from 10.2.500.0 to 10.2.800.0 and I must do the first computer manualy with "Ivanti Workspace Control Upgrade Pack 10.2.800.0.exe"

on cserver directly connected to database.

But I have the following message:

 

In previous upgrade, when I validate this message all was ok but here it don't work:

I cannot get users logged into the service desk using their Active Directory credentials. Is there a guide that can walk me through step by step so I may correct this problem?

Also how can I sync Active directory information at any time or setup for a certain time during the week?

Computer Location Change should Update Location of other linked CIs

Hi there,

 

We use Relashionship "CITypedLinkCI" (Link Table Relationship, many to many) to link several CIs with CI.Computer.

For example: This relationship is used to link Printers, Displays or Peripheral Diveces with connected Computers.

 

If Computer Location is changed, we want to update linked CIs automatically. For example my Workspace contains 3 CIs: Computer, Display, Printer. If I update Computer Location I want to automatically update Display and Printer Location also.

 

I guess I know how to do this if relationship was not many-to-many. But I have no idea how to solve this over this relationship.

 

Any ideas?

Expressions - "Join" designator

Does anyone have any details on how to use this functionality. As with a some things in ISM it seems to be a 'hidden' feature with, what appears to be, no documentation - the only reference I can find is here: Using the Expression Editor

Yet there are no details about how to use this, despite it being using in certain OOTB lists, e.g WebUI.ServiceRequestByUnit (Service Column)

 

Any help is appreciated - this could be a really useful feature.

Is there a "replaced by" Function in CI?

An employee asked me if it's possible to simply replace a CI.

For example: a Display was replaced by another one. It would be great if this Change could be done as simple as possible just by pressing a button and selecting the ci what replaces another (Location, Organisation, Status, linked cis and so on sould be migrated to "new" CI)
