in the Patch and Compliance, I do not see any patch related to the Skype App (I can see the desktop and the Business versions).
Just to be sure: is this kind of Skype version managed via Windows Store only ?

I have a template that installs and launches a program (distributes a Windows Action that launches an exe) and when I run the template, everything runs fine but I would like the ldprovisioning UI to exit after launching the program but while the program is still running.

Im OSDeployment bin ich erst recht neu unterwegs und habe ein Problem mit einer selbst erstellten PreOSAction. Ich habe Windows 10 1803 paketiert und ein neues OS Inst Set erstellt, die Installation funktioniert fehlerfrei. Nun hätte ich noch gern ein BIOS-Einstellungsscipt (auf UEFI) zuvor am laufen. Die dazu gemachte Pre OS Action funktioniert auch, wenn ich diese direkt zuweise. Im OS Inst Set wird das Script wie gewünscht als erstes ausgeführt und erzeugt direkt im Abschluss jedoch den Fehler "task-status 128 - Es gibt keine untergeordneten Prozesse auf die gewartet werden muss", weshalb das Set rot wird. Die Pre OS Action steht auf "Sofortiger Neustart erforderlich", was m.E. auch richtig ist, da die UEFI-Einstellungen ja erst nach dem Reboot greifen. Aber da geht es halt leider nicht weiter.
Kann mir jemand was zu dem Fehler sagen? Die Suche hier im Forum hat nichts zu Tage gefördert und auch nicht die DSM Hilfe.

After switching back from the taskview option in server 2016, all the shortcuts become blurry. I will add a screenshot to clarify.
When connecting normal via rdp, it works normally.

We also have the problem that icons on the desktop are blank pictograms. I will also add the screenshot

So I was wondering, we have some users with quite a big personalization profile, like 20-40mb. 95% of this is Firefox and Chrome personalization data. Windows Settings Groups size is mostly like 1-4mb which is quite normal.
From my point of view, Application data is not interfering with logon times because it gets synched when you launch the application. WSG gets synched at logon and logoff in our case, so the size of that is directly interfering with logon times.
Am I correct in this case? Or is our application data in some other way involved during the logon process. Because than i'll probably gonna trim some Application Groups..

Is there any reason why "category" needs to be specified when creating a package for a desktop link? We don't have a need or want to use categories and can't see why it should be a pre-requisite. If you try and save the URL package it does not let you save because of it.

All of a sudden, Kaspersky/LANDesk AV will not install correctly on Windows 10 clients (Build 1709) as part of the agent installation. The symptoms are that it installs leaving the Kaspersky entry in Add/Remove programs; after a reboot, the 'K' icon in the system tray is grey rather than red, and it states that it is not activated. This is on a 2016.3 SU6 core.
Other symptoms:
The icon for the tool-tip it shows the version as 'Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows 10.2.4.674' whereas on a Windows 7 PC it is shown as 'Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows 10.2.5.3201 (mr3)'
After a first reboot, Vulscan tries to remove it and re-install and then re-brand, but fails several times (according to the logs)
I have also tried:
i. Setting the agent to download rather than install the AV files
ii. Installing the agent without AntiVirus, then using a Install/Update Security Components to install AntiVirus afterwards
This was working last week, and we have made no changes that I am aware of to our Core server. Please help!
If i have a application published to Portal Manager with setting:
Task Settings:
Frequency: Run Once
Checked: Optional (display in portal) and "allow users to run as desired (keep in portal after selected)
Problem 1:
First time i run the schedule task the software is availible in Portal Manager for my users.
What i have noticed is when a computer is re-installed with new OS the software will not be availible again in Portal Manager for the computer because it have already been succesfully publish to Portal Manager before.
Very annoying... any setting to fix this problem?

First time i run the schedule task the software is availible in Portal Manager for my users.
If i choose "re-run task" on a computer that alrady successfully published a software to portal manager, it WILL INSTALL the software?! Even if i have the task setting: Optional (display in portal)
Or if i choose Task settings frequency to Run Daily, the first time it will publish to portal manager, the next day it will INSTALL the software...
This must be a bug?

Avalanche 5.3, I would like to disable one device group so that the units will no longer function. I have disabled the device group but the units are still active (remote monitoring). The profile for these covers other sites so I can not disable the profile. RF units are WT4090s CE5. Is there a way?

We have just purchased 7 x Motorola MC9190 OS is Windows 6.5 and installed Wavelink Telnet CE V 7.3.265. This is configured to connect to a Pragma Session Manager on a Remote Server.
We are finding that the Scanners will lock/freeze/hang for an, as yet undetermined, period of inactivity. However the Pragma Session Manager still see's a live session and indeed I can log the user off from the Pragma Session manger which in turn resets the hand held terminal.
I have tried to configure Wavelink Emulation Keep Session Active to 30seconds however this has no effect.
It seem to me like something configured on the Hand Held is disconnecting or disabling any keypad input until the session is reset in Pragma.
Any thoughts?

We purchased a TelnetCE 7.3 for zebra MC3100G with RFID.
At first we install the TelnetCE 7.3.47 on the device and sucessfully added manually the license on the mobile device.
However, there is a problem with the screen indicator that is not showing up when pressing the yellow button. But there is no problem when pressing the Function button as it shows the blue ring indicator on the screen.
So what we did is we try reinstalling a TelnetCE that is version 7.3.299 then it solves the issue with the yellow and blue screen indicator when the button Was pressed.
But then, after installing this version, the TelnetCe license seems missing and keep prompting to “add the license”. Then we tried to add the license and key-in the information that we get from license registration but it keeps showing “Authorization Code Failed”.
Can anyone help how to fix this issue? We purchased a 2 in 1 license for VT220.

One of our customers has as problem with the default functionality on a Datalogic Skorpio X3. The problem is shown on input fields. First, they type in a long string (in this example "9" is typed in several times). After that, they go back and and type several times "5", so they and up with "55559999" and with the cursor behind the last "5". After that, they want to press Enter and only have "5555" as the input result. But this won't work, because "55559999" is send as the result. According to the customer, this kind of functionality was possible on their old Datalogic Memor devices running the discontinued DL-TCL-NET software. So the question is how to get the same kind of functionality or workaround the problem.
We are using a mixture of Zebra VC5090 and VC70's. Our forklifters use the system request key (FUNCTION and the RESET/ATTN button) on the VC5090 to change password as well as the Send Message option. We cant figure out how to do this on the VC70. Is there a keyboard map or can someone tell me what the option is for this?
Waiting for newer version of the Wavelink Telnet CE for Datalogic X4 CE7 Devices (now only v7.3.308) , I noticed that the v7.3.299 is already installed on the X4. Is there any possibility to find somewhere the installation program of this version?
As with the Datalogic Skorpio X3 the newer v7.3.302 had problems at usage of Function keys but installing the older v7.3.299 the problem was fixed automatically , the same i believe for all problems I have with the Wavelink TE at Skorpio X4 . I think there are some problems with the only version, which displays the letters in wrong way at menus and makes different the display for some of the screens at client's menu. Unfortunately ,there is no other version in case for me to check and use at Skorpio X4 .
Is it possible to access OS specific features via scripting in particular to communicate data to a local custom application running on device in any of the platforms (Android, CE7).
Alternatively is there an API available from scripting to open TCP connections?

I have published quite large Request Offerings (with many checkboxes and input fields).
We have the problem using Google Chrome that every time I type something in the form, it jumps back to the beginning of the form.
With Internet Explorer it seems, that the page is reloaded.
Firefox works fine.
Does anyone else have these problems, or does anyone have an idea how to fix them?

I need to play a sound when users get a message for the first time, I had this functionality working in Naurtech, Examples below. My wavelink script is configured to execute on screen changes. The problem is that text stays in place through additional screen updates before the next successful output, the results are with every tab and move within the screen this sound plays. A solution may be waiting until the user presses enter, I tried changing the setting from when screen updates to after keystroke of enter 0D and it breaks the software because I can no longer hit enter to logon.
