Component to show Created Time Trend

This might be a really easy question (we've only had Xtraction 2017.2 for a couple of days so still finding out about all the buttons).

 

I'm trying to create an average time of day created chart linked in to HEAT/Ivanti Server Manager. Something like this (from an old system):

I've managed to get it for one day:

with these settings:

 

But when I change the Created Date to more than one day then it doesn't work - one day is spread hourly and the other day(s) are all logged at 00 hours.

I've tried changing the Summary from Count to Average but then it wants a Summary field and none of those options seem to be set to Created date or Time logged.

 

Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you!


Ivanti Scan failing on Drobo device

Hello,

 

Been searching the web for a solution, but so far have come up empty.

 

Anyway I have schedule some reoccurring scans for individual drives on a particular server as the drives are rather large. The scans complete successfully on all the drives except one. This particular drive is a Drobo device and is connected via USB. The scan starts successfully and gets almost all the way through, but eventually hangs. I've looked at reoccurring scan logs, checked system\application logs, but just can't figure out why the scan keeps hanging. Any thoughts? Are there other logs I should be looking at? I am not able to access the drive myself. The Ivanti Agent version is 8.5.0.20.

 

Also when I run a manual scan on this drive it completes successfully.

Ivanti EPM Mac Software Deployment - High Sierra

Hi Guys,

 

I seem to be having issues with software deployment from Ivanti EPM 2017.4 SU4 for Mac High Sierra 10.13.4.

 

Anything previous to Sierra can download software packages fine without any issues but with Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.4 the task just stays stuck on downloading and never downloads or fails.

 

Not sure if anyone has come across this issue and if anyone knows any work around ?

Windows Updates need longe installation time on VMware

Hello together,

 

we have Windows 10 1709 and we testing Application Control 2018.1 in our environment.

 

When I have a client without AC, the installation of the Windows RSAT Tools from Microsoft need 5 minutes. When I installing on the same maschine AC, then need the installation 8 hours.

I have analysed with the Rules Analyzer if there any access denieds, but there is nothing. On my test machine is not running a Virusscan.

 

On further test, we are know there is a problem with the VMware Tools, then we have this problem only on a VMware.

 

When I install AC and install VMware tools (Full installation, not Typical), we need 8h. When I install AC and no VMware tools, then is the installation finished in 5min.

If I installing as Typical, than it´s working. On a Full installaiton there are the NSX drivers includet:

 

I need any special configuration with the installed VMware Tools? What can I do to analyse the problem?

Termproxy client port to proxy redirect same port

Hello,

 

I'm trying to use TermProxy with some RF scanners from Datalogic, and TelnetCE.

We have this configuration :

Scanner1: hostip:8461

Scanner2: hostip:8462

Scanner3: hostip:8463

 

And so on ...

 

We need TermProxy to redirect the connection to the exact same port, because each port is dedicated for each scanner.

 

I have configured TermProxy with this: connect xx.xxx.x.xxx:8461-8488, but it attribute ports randomly and it causes conflict with scanners connections

 

Which configuration do I need to set with TermProxy to tell it to use same port as the client one ?

Bonjour,

where can i find scripts powershell for install drivers.

 

i use this script:

$log = "c:\windows\temp\sierra.log"

Get-childitem  -recurse -include *.inf | foreach-object{C:\Windows\System32\PNPUtil.exe /add-driver $_.fullname /install} > $log

 

it's ok on pc

 

but with a task pnputil.exe is not reconize

 

we are on Windows 10 64 bits.

I have a question regarding the approval of requests via email. I have already created the required links in the emails according to the following scheme.

The approval works great. Rejecting the request, however, does not. I get the following error message in the logs:

 

     Failed to status of the task approval # 1727 to "Denied"

I have already deactivated the Required Rule for FRS_ApprovalVoteTracking.Reason (Default) - Reason is required when $(if Status == "Denied" then true else false) , but that didn't help either.

 

In this context, I have another question. If I want to approve a request via the Self-Service Portal, I also get the text box in which I should enter a reason for the approval. Can this be stopped?

 

Can anyone help here or does anyone have any ideas ?

Hi everyone,

 

we have some trouble with the HEAT DSM Integration and our CI objects. The CI workspace is filled via discovery.

When I want to open a Ci object I get the following error message.

 

 

Furthermore, this error message also appears.

For me it looks like the message size to be sent from DSM to ISM is too large and therefore the transmission is aborted. Is it possible to increase the MaxReceivedMessageSize?

 

Due to this problem, our automatic software installation via request offerings does not work either. The installation is executed on the computer, but ISM does not receive any confirmation from DSM if the installation was successful.

 

We are using Ivanti Service Manager - 2017.2.1000.27030

 

Can anyone help or even know a solution for this problem?

The business rule - validation rule in Incident is below but it only works for certain Roles.   Incidents are being incorrectly Resolved with open Tasks.

Hello, everybody,

 

I am still relatively new to the ivanti world. We have received the request that we want to process our IT purchasing via the Service Manager. The service catalogue is intended to serve as a central contact point for our end users, where they can order IT hardware via various offerings.

In fact, similar to an online shop. Furthermore, it should be possible for a cost center manager to evaluate which totals were output or which articles were ordered.

 

Has anyone ever done anything like this or come up with an idea how to do it? Especially the point that we want to evaluate what and how much was ordered I find relatively difficult, since we have no order items or the like.

 

It would be nice if someone would get in touch.

2018.1 - ModifyXML lässt DSMC abstürzen

Moin,

 

wegen FileZilla's Updateverhalten will ich die XML in %Appdata% anpassen.

Also das erste mal ModifyXML benutzt. Bis zur Auswahl von Xpath geht alles.

Aber wenn ich das Attribute (Update) auswählen will stürzt die DSMC ab.

 

Known error? Oder liegts an der FileZilla XML?

Ich versuchs nun mal mit ModifyOEM und schau ob ich es damit umgehen kann

Get Approval based on team

I have a group called Team Lead Approvers that approve knowledge articles, but the approvals should only go to members of that group who are also in the same team as the owner.

 

One solution would be to make an approval group for each team, but this is a much more static solution - I want something dynamic that can handle a change such as removing a team or adding a team.

 

There doesn't seem to be an option within the "Get Approval" block that allows you to filter by both group and by team. Does anyone know how this can be solved?

BROKERCONFIG for SEND by MS-DOS Command

Bonjour,

J'ai des postes qui communiquent via VCSA et Internet à mes serveurs CoreServeurAdherent. Mais il y a un souci avec les certificats qui sont bons mais pas bien synchronisés.

J'ai besoin de faire un "C:\Program Files\Landesk\Ldclient\BrokerConfig.exe"  puis "SEND"  mais via une ligne de commande MS-DOS.

quels sont les options à rajouter à "C:\Program Files\Landesk\Ldclient\BrokerConfig.exe" pour me permettre de le faire ?

I have posts that communicate via VCSA and Internet to my CoreServerAdherent servers.But there is a problem with certificates that are good but not well synchronized.
I need to do a "C: \ Program Files \ Landesk \ Ldclient \ BrokerConfig.exe" then "SEND" but via an MS-DOS command line.
what are the options to add to "C: \ Program Files \ Landesk \ Ldclient \ BrokerConfig.exe" to allow me to do this?

cannot open attachments added in self service by user

any advice for attachment errors? i'm getting errors when a user in selfservice raises a request and adds an attachment on submission.

 

the attachment saves but when an analyst opens in WebAccess i get the below error. the faulty attachment also stop the notification from sending as i have the multi Attachment field on the reminder window

 

i know there was an fault with the multi-attachment field but i thought this was no resolved

 

we are running version 2017.3

 

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

 

I have the requirement that for a specific "Attachments" tab the user shall only be able to create attachments with an URL, not with a file. That is, I'm looking for a way, that within this specific "Attachments" tab, only the "New URL" button is visible/enabled but the "New Attachment" button shall not be visible or at least be disabled.

 

Any ideas hwo to accomplish this ?

Win10 1709 MUI funktioniert nicht + Inplace upgrade -2145124329

Hallo zusammen,

 

Ich habe immer noch mit diversen Problemen bei meinem 1709 upgrade zu kämpfen. Einerseits besteht bei mir das Problem mit der Sprachauswahl während der Installation. Hier habe ich nur die Möglichkeit Die Ausgangsprache auszuwählen. Die Sprachpaket sind aber in meinem OS Paket vorhanden. Während der Installation stimmt die Sprache noch und In meiner unattend.xml sollte eigentlich auch alles stimmen. Zumindest trägt er hier die richtige Sprache ein. In meinen Fall geschieht das über die Variable: %CurrentComputer.Var.EnvironmentVariables.ClientLanguage%. Zwar könnte ich jetzt die Sprache nachträglich über die Registry ändern. Finde das aber jetzt nicht so komfortable weil das wieder ein zusätzliches Paket bedeuten würde.

 

Mein zweites Problem ist das Inplace upgrade mit angepasster install.wim. Hier bekomme ich als Return -2145124329. Die Orginal wim funktioniert komischerweise ohne Probleme. Auch hier könnte man jetzt das ganze customizing nachträglich machen. Finde ich allerdings nicht so toll. Google konnte mir hier leider auch nicht weiterhelfen. Aber vielleicht weis jemand von euch woran es liegen könnte. Ebenso besteht hier das selbe Probleme mit dem MUI.

Ivanti Automation agent offline after upgrade to agent+ 10.3.0.0

Installed the 2018.1 version of Ivanti Automation. When I manually install the agent+ 10.3.0.0 agent (not removed the legacy agent) the imaging with Citrix PVS works fine after deleting the CommucationId registry key (RES Automation Manager Agents are not visible in RES Automation Manager Console when using imaging or cloning to deploy computers ). When I uninstall the Legacy agent and deploy the Agent+ version from the Automation Console the CommunicationId registry setting doesn't work anymore. All agents are offline after deploying the Citrix PVS image. I think the CommunicationId registry setting is a legacy agent feature. How does it work in the Agent+ version?

Managed website shortcut not shown in start menu

I'm trying to configure a shortcut in Ivanti Workspace Control 10.2.700.1.

Actually publishing IE11 with a URL in parameters. It does not show up. It does when I make a mandatory shortcut on the desktop, but not in the start menu itself.

It also works as shortcut on taskbar.

 

When configuring this shortcut as mandatory in the personalized start menu, it just shows Internet Explorer twice…

 

 

When clicking on it, it does not take me to the configured URL, but just the configured home page.

 

It this a bug, or do I have something misconfigured?

 

What I want is full control of all shortcuts in start menu.

Force english language for agents installation

Is there a way to force the language of the agent installation (without detection of OS language)?

We have some clients with OS in french, but help desk guys does not know it... and it could be very useful to have all menus and logs in english.

I've installed Sophos 7.0.2 and I'm in the configuration wizard. I'm stuck that the page that asks for the license xml file. The documentation says this file is included in the install kit but I cannot find it.
