How to I build filters to create a report?
I am trying to create a report with only certain information but I can't seem to figure out how to get all the correct info I need and then be able to actually see the report afterwards in a report view.

Problems with filters
I'm just learning how to create filters and I've had a few issues pop up and I don't know what I did wrong. To learn how to do different filters, I've been playing around with info I might need. For instance, I wanted to find all our contacts in Monroe and Wayne Counties in Michigan, so here is what I typed into the filter builder:
State is Equal to "MI" AND County ( Ucounty ) is Equal to "Monroe" OR County ( Ucounty ) is Equal to "Wayne"
When I activated the filter, I got 79 results, but it included contacts in Ohio, Utah, New York, as well as Michigan! I tried it first with just Monroe County and all the contacts I got were correct. But adding Wayne County really seemed to throw it off. To see if I had the formula (for lack of a better term) correct, I tried a filter with contacts in Lake and Geauga Counties in Ohio, and the filter worked properly.
What is going wrong?

Set alarm to follow up email sent
It could be great if it will possible to set automatically a reminder allarm after sent an important email that needs a reply.
The only way seems to send email than manually create a nextaction activity with alarm set to on
i tried using automatic process that react to a specific activity code and create the activity.
It works but it's not 1-click action: set the actiivity code in the emal then attach the specific process to the contact
Any help?

constant comment connector
I am trying to set up a new email list using the Constant Contact Connector in Goldmine. Since I can't find any documentation in either the user or admin manual or this forum, I watched the relevant YouTube videos but no joy there either. I am trying to figure out how Goldmine maps fields reflected in Step 1 below - Ensure contact fields have been mapped. Do I need the full contact1 and 2 table.column names or will it use the local label values?
Anyone got a clue? Thanks!

When using documents and email merging, how do you add a different greeting than , preferably a user defined field?
I cant seem to figure out how to merge another field into a document for personalized emails. Sometimes I want the emails to go to one address for 2 people.....help.

OSD PXE und Cisco Switch DHCP
Hi Leute,
ich habe hier eine etwas ungewöhnliche Aufgabenstellung eines Kunden. Dort gibt es im Client Netz kein DHCP, welches auch nicht eingesetzt werden soll. Nun gibt es im deren Konfigurationsraum ein Switch der darüber nur auf bestimmten Ports DHCP anbieten kann und somit die PXE Installation im Client Netz für diesen Raum ermöglichen soll. Der DSM OSD Server steht in einem anderen VLAN. Sieht im Grunde so aus:
DSM = VLAN 203 10.10.1.x
Client Netz = VLAN 2 192.168.2.x
Routing und Firewall technisch ist bereits alles offen und die Kommunikation wird hier nicht unterbunden. Auf dem DSM Server gibt es keine weitere Software Firewall und die Windows Firewall ist deaktiviert.
DHCP Optionen wurden nicht gesetzt, stattdessen ein IP Helper auf die IP des DSM Servers geleitet.
Leider klappt mit dieser Konfiguration der PXE Boot nicht. Im OSD Log kommt keine Anfrage des Client an und laut den Logs des Cisco Switches schickt der Client kein DHCP Request. Wir haben daraufhin auch schon andere Clients getestet und sowohl im UEFI Modus als auch im Legacy das Problem gesehen. Der Client zeigt dann immer PXE-E53 No Bootfilename received an. Was eigtl gegen das Log des Cisco Switches sprechen würde und dafür das der IP Helper nicht funktioniert.
Jetzt kommt das Kuriose. Wird die DHCP Option 60 gesetzt, funktioniert der TFTP Boot und der Client startet bis ins WinPE. Im WinPE kommt der DSM Agent hoch und versucht dann den OSD Proxy auf der IP 192.168.2.2 zu erreichen (Das ist die IP des Switches). Das schlägt natürlich fehl. Soweit ist das nun auch das korrekte Verhalten wenn man sich die Info zu der Option 60 durchliest, dann soll diese Option nur eingesetzt werden wenn der DHCP mit auf dem OSD Proxy läuft. Was ich aber überhaupt nicht verstehe ist, das der Client ohne dieser Option den TFTP Boot nicht hinbekommt und dann am No Bootfilename received scheitert und sobald die Option 60 sitzt er bis ins WinPE kommt.
Darüber hinaus war zuvor dort Matrix42 im Einsatz. Für Matrix gab es die gleiche Konfiguration und der Kunde hat dort die DHCP Option 43 und DHCP Option 60 aktiv. Damit läuft der PXE Boot mit Matrix so wie sich der Kunde das wünscht. Meine Frage, hattet Ihr schonmal so einen Fall und gibt es eine Info zu der Option 43 und DSM?

Can't launch console anymore: "sa" account locked (SQL Express)
Hello Everyone,
I'm completely new to Ivanti (tried it months ago, followed a training course in march and now i'm installing it and trying to get it work).
Here's what i did so far:
Installed EPM 2017.3 and configured it.
Tried to create an advance agent and to deploy it with a scheduled task but nothing happen. After a while i decided to reboot the Core Server. After reboot i can't open the console (or the remote console) : Windows say the "sa" account is locked.
When i've installed the Core Server i didn't change the "sa" password and don't know it.
How can i unlock it?

MC 10.2.Server - EventID 1309 Code 3005, Max pool size was reached
I am receiving an EventID 1309 Code 3005 on the Management Server and it appears to be related to the SQL connection pool size limit being reached. I have tried to look for the connection string in IIS to increase the size, but the settings in the GUI show the defaults. I can see the connection settings in the web.config text files of the AppSense website directories, but the values are encrypted.
When I go to http://TheServer.Domain/ManagementServer/Deployment/Manifest.aspx , it takes a while to show an OK, and after refreshing the browser a few times, I get this:

I would like to know if there are any troubleshooting techniques to investigate, or would it be best to just uninstall fully and then re-install the Management Center server? I originally installed the MC under v8.6, so it is still attached to the 'Default Web Site.' I started receiving this error after upgrading to 10.0, and it got progressively worse after the 10.1 and 10.2 updates. We only use AC/MC, and I was installing both MC and AC agents locally on the desktop image prior to 10.2. Now, after the 10.2 upgrade, I am only installing MC on the image, so the server is pulling down both AC agent + policies. The MC server is currently running 10.2.112.0.

Success Delete Printer but still in Query
Hi All,
I create Query Printer Network and batch file for delete network printer using Ivanti 10.1.30.401. All status Done and result "The action completed success".

All tasks keep running but never end
Hello,
Here's my problem:
- i've created an advance agent and i used the UDD to discover some computer on my network.
If i create a scheduled task for the agent (push) and run the task it will stay active forever so i had to delete the task.
I've also noticed that if i use the "tutorial" about UDD and create a schedule task (instad od clicking "run now"), the task wil lstart but never end.
The account use for the scheduler is a domain account who is local admin of any computer.
The account is alos on the l"Landesk Administrators" group on the Core server.
I have no error and i don't know where to look (logs, etc...).
Can you help me?

Ivanti EPM 2017.X and 2018.X Provisioning Issues
has anyone else had the issue when performing provisioning tasks even though the task box is unchecked where it says to stop if task fails, the task fails and the provisioning stops. I then have to relaunch the ldprovision.exe to get it to continue. sometimes the tasks just stop responding and I have to reboot and relaunch ldprovision to get it to finish. This has been an ongoing problem since 2017.1. No one seems to really have an answer. It seems as if the connection from the task to the computer just stops. It is random. It is not always the same task. Surely this is working as designed?

Ivanti 2018.1 Bugs
I don't know where to report this as a bug, however, it is a pretty big one. So we use conditions (If/Else) to determine if software gets installed on a machine. What I have found is if you put one condition such as computer name ends in -00 or the explicit computer name the conditions work like they should. However if you put conditions to say computer name is between computer-00 and computer-50, the provisioning skips over it as if it doesn't meet the condition. It also does not work if you say computer name is greater than computer-00. so we had to create queries and set prerequisites in order to make sure only the machines licensed for the software got it.
