Outlook GoldMine Plus Link

I have a client that uses the GoldMine Plus link. The windows or boxes that hold the GoldMine stuff on the main outlook form have broken out of Outlook. So know they look like separate windows. Does anybody know how to fix that. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried From a command prompt 'outlook -clearview'. I have deleted the GM plus folder on the server.

Add a new Date content filter for Last 2+ Years in Xtraction

The oldest date filter option in Xtraction (2017.2) is Last year/This month last year. I'm trying to run reports to compare previous years and while I can put in fixed dates it would be handy to have a This Month 2 years ago, This Month 3 years ago etc and Last 24/36 months.

 

I've looked at the Filter Builder (https://help.ivanti.com/ld/help/en_US/XTRACT/2016/Admin/XT_Admin/Using-the-filter-builder.htm) and Creating Content Filters ( https://help.ivanti.com/ld/help/en_US/XTRACT/2016/User/XT_User/Creating-filters.htm) but neither seem to help.

 

Any suggestions how I can add this?

Service Request in Business Object drop-down on new Form Offering.

How do make a new Form Offering, and have Service Request show up in the Business Object drop-down? Service Request has a relationship with MyItems as noted in another, similar post (pretty sure it comes this way out-of-box) but the dropdown shows only Incident and Approval Vote Tracking for me.

We are trying to launch Camera app, using below script.

But it is not working. Is the action script written wrongly? Please guide.

How to Conditionally Hide Fields on a Service Request?

Based on the Request Offering chosen, I need to hide select fields on the Details tab, at the time of data-entry.

A pic to explain myself:

I've included "Commitment Date" and "Update Commitment Date" as fields on the ServiceReq.DefaultForm, as shown above.

However, I only want these fields to be visible if one specific Request Offering is selected.

 

Unfortunately, all of the Relationship tables (ServiceReqTemplate, ServiceReqTemplate (Reverse), and ServiceReqTemplateDefinition) are only populated with data once the ticket is saved.  This is evidenced by the Description and Name fields shown in the picture.  Both remain empty until after the ticket is saved.  So, I cannot make a condition based on any of those tables, as far as I can tell.

 

I would also be happy to use a field in the Parameters tab to set the condition.  Something like $(if <parameter> exists then true else false), but I don't know how to accomplish this.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

How To Filter Web Service Search With Less () than

Does anyone know how to perform internal web service search where a target field value is less than or greater than a desired value?

 

The following is well documented:

 

var AllPastDue = Search('Loans#',{

Status: 'Paid'});

 

This works when you need values equal to a desired value, but how do you handle cases where the needed results have to be greater than or less than.

 

E.G:

 

var AllPastDue = Search('Loans#',{

Amount: 10000});

 

Or where field value is null. E.G:

var AllPastDue = Search('Loans#',{

!ChargeBack});

Configuring Event and Availability Logging

I followed the instructions in the Help files for how to add the Event and Availability Log child panels to a CI type, but when I create an outage event, nothing populates in the Availability Log. It also doesn't add anything to the Availablity dashboard in Analytic Metrics. I don't see any relationship between the Frs_EVT_Event and Frs_AVL_CILog business objects, and the help files don't say anything about creating them.

 

Have any of you set this up, and made it work?

Monthly patching report

Hi,

I am trying to provide feedback to management on just how many patches we deploy per month.

Is there a report that can provide a summary of how many patches were deployed in the month on all servers?

I can see the the various reports under tools--> reports, but any report I select to view does has the option

"Number of days to report on" greyed out.

 

I was hoping to use an executive summary with a number of days to report on.

 

Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi,

 

I check the file named "Ivanti Service Manager 2017.3.1 Premise Release Notes.pdf" inside the ISM installer, there is a line stated

but I couldn't find any documentation how to configure this in ISM.

 

I check this article Ivanti Service Manager 2017.3.1 Download  but in the "Ivanti Service Manager 2017.3.1 Production Release Notes.pdf" file it doesn't mention about the Support for Software Deployment using Ivanti Endpoint Manager.

I can't find instructions for how to share a dashboard to "ALL" users (i.e. just users that will viewing the report, not administering them). How do I share a dashboard to all users?

It's unclear how I'm supposed to go about publishing a dashboard to non-admin Xtraction accounts.

I believe the licence model works that there are unlimited dashboard viewer users. What am I missing?

Bonjour,

 

Je souhaite provisionner des PC portables depuis un modèle déconnecté sur une clé USB.

Lorsque je lance l'opération de création de la clé j'obtiens un échec avec cette erreur dans le log :

ERROR    BootMediaHelper   10/09/2018 13:51:32     : Can't determine USB drive size, or it is too small.
ERROR    POfflineProvisiong   10/09/2018 13:51:32     : Could not make format USB.

J'ai fait l'essai avec 3 clés USB de 4 Go, 8 Go et 16 Go ainsi qu'un disque dur externe de 500 Go.

J'obtiens toujours le même log.

Portal Manager

Hello everybody,

 

we are experiencing some issue about Portal Manager. We deliver to our users link and programs to launch thru Portal Manager. We associated this links to some scopes that are created from queries. These queries are based on AD groups. The problem is often some icons in the Portal Manager are missing, then appear again after minutes. It's not steady. In the task the client is associated and delivered (green) but the user can't show it. Is there a best practice. Maybe some alternative. This system is not working so well... and it's important for our complany. The core is Ivanti 2017.3 Thanks.

APM Patch files missing and no patch policies have been created

i have some problems with DSM 2018.1 (7.04.001.4467) APM module. For some patches the files were not downloaded an also the patch policies were not created.

The product is activated in APM and also has affected computers.

In the APM PMDownload_SYSTEM_XXXXX.log i found following entries:

Discovery Data Mapping between Ivanti SM and EPM

Hello,

 

We have installed and are using

 

Ivanti Service Manager (2017.3.1000.31399 @ 3/15/2018)

 

We are also using EPM (Landesk discovery 10.1).

 

We are capturing Hardware IT Assets in the SM (as part of the COnfiguration Manager Role). We are also bringing in Discovery data on the assets eg RAM, OS, ETC. Under each record is a space to map the manually recorded asset with its related logical discovery data (ie RAM, OS, Serial Number, Model, etc of the hardware asset as discovered by the agent on the asset)  . Does anybody know what links the Discovery data to the asset record created manually in the Ivanti SM ?.

 

How does SM know what the OS , RAM of the manually record is ?. whats the unique identifier/ unique key that links the two ?. is it the PC name fields ( as PC name will be on the asset and also their is a field to record it manually in the config role of Ivanti SM ), or is it something else.

Repair task not been updated

Hi there ,

 

I have configured a repair task for all of my pc , the task been successfully done but the problem no pc been updated on my xtraction widgets

 

the reboot agent setting is disabled on my landesk agent ! i don't know if that because of the reboot should the machine be rebooted so then i can see it updated on the xtraction screen !!

Hello,

 

I use Zebra MC3100, Our barcode have contain data character " | ". While running telnet and scan barcodes, character " | " can not be read. but when telnet is turned off and scan the barcode character "|" readable. How characters | can be read with our zebra Mc3100 ?
