We are using HEAT 2016.1.  My team links changes to incidents by clicking the green + to the right of the screen and choosing the Change tab.

We'll then create a change ticket.  My problem is that the tab disappears after you refresh your browser.

In other words, it shows the Details, Task, and Cost Item tabs:

But, it should show the Change tab as well **if** a change has been associated with it, like so:

How do I get the Change tab to remain visible if a change has been associated with the incident?

What I'd like to do is alter the URL to pass the LoginId (or some field) of a record in the Employee table and autofill the Customer information from that employee record. I assume this is possible, but can anyone tell me how to do it?

We are in a somewhat unique situation where we have multiple agencies in our building using one HR department.  We are looking at creating some HR processes that will cover the agencies in the building.  I've created and Agency business object and created my agencies there.  The OOTB already has Department business objects.  I want to link the agencies to the departments.  An agency will have many of the same department names, one such example bing HR will exist across all agencies.  IT would be another Department name that all agencies will have.  So to me it seems I have a Many-to-Many relationship - an agency can be associated to many departments, and a department can be associated to many agencies.  When I create a Department, I want to pick the various agencies to which it will belong.  Here's my approach...

I created an Agency business object

1. created a Name field to hold the agency name
2. autogenerated the UI

Then I created my agencies.

Next, I created an Agencies pick list pulling the names from my Agency business object as the values.

Next, on my Department object

1. created an AgencyLink field
2. created a relationship AgencyAssocDepartment
3. created an AgencyName text field
   1. used pick list Agencies from above
4. modified Department form to use this new AgencyName field
   1. modified control properties of this field to Radio Button

Now, when I create a new Department all my agencies show in the form, but I can only pick one.  I fear I don't fully understand relationship building and link fields.  The link field holds the association value between the Department and the Agency.  The relationship defines the type of relationship and to what object.  But I don't see how the department's AgencyLink link field will hold the multiple Agency values.  It probably doesn't and I'm really missing a key element here.

Hopefully someone can show me the way.

Getting connection errors to server. With one computer. It's running windows 10. the event log says:

We recently upgraded to Service Desk 2018.1 and since the upgrade it doesn't recognize the standard dashboard Setting in the console.

A new opened console always startet with dashboard "Dispatcher" but dashboard "Standard" is set as global standard (and personal).

We tried to change the standard dashboard to "Dispatcher" and then back to "Standard" without sucess.

this happend for all users and even users with a new profile. any suggestions? Webdesk is not affected.

We've changed our anti virus software and the LDSD servers seem to be running slower and occasionally crashing.  We are running an old version of service desk which is 7.4.0.2466.

Does anyone know what anti virus exclusions we may need to add?

It seems that while the first sync of an appointment from Goldmine to Outlook works, if there is a change in the appointment in Goldmine - let's say the meeting get's pushed back a hour, that update isn't reflected in the Outlook calendar.

I have a read only business rule setup on my Change Module that doesn't allow anyone to change the subject of a Change in the following statuses.

• Closed
• Denied
• Approved
• Implementation In Progress
• PIR

I need to allow only the Change Manager role to modify the Subject of Changes in the above statuses.

Below is the current syntax in the read only business rule.

we have Windows 10 Ent. 1709 installed. When I will update to 1803, the update is woking fine on a Notebook, but not on VMware they are running on our ESXi. The installation is hanging on 75 / 77%. After some hours, the setup is doing a fallback.

The Notebook and the VMware have a minimum of software installed. I mean thats a problem between Kaspersky und Application Control.

On an effected endpoint, I uninstall Kaspersky and I could upgrade to 1803.

But when I uninstall Application Control on the endpoint, so I could upgrade to 1803 too.

We have set in Kaspersky exclusions for Application Control and exclusions in Application Control for Kaspersky.

After that, we could upgrade the Notebook, but not the Virtual Machine (there was the same problem).

When I stop completely the functionality of Application Control and of Kaspersky, the problem remains. The only way that will work, is to uninstall one of the tool.

When I stop the Application Control Service, befor I starting the setup.exe file from the Inplace Upgrade, then I could upgrade the client.

When I remote the license from Application Control, then I could upgrade the client.

Have any one an idea, what we can do?

Hi All, we're working on scheduling a daily SR for our Service Desk early shift checks (in heat).

We have the Service Offering created with a basic workflow and also the RECIDs for the Offering template and Request subscription.

Aim is to have the Schedule Entry run daily at 6am ( this works) and create the SR & have it's workflow fire to assign to Service Desk, create the tasks for the checks etc.

Looking for help on the simplest/easiest way to create the SR...  Current method is a workflow against the Schedule Entry object calling a webservice quickaction to create the SR.

Issue/question is how do we automatically invoke the SR's workflow?

Example: in Release 2017.2 it (correct) says "Überwachungsliste"  with Release 2018.1.1 "Watchlist"
