DELETE OLD DEFINITION

Hello there ,

 

so , we installed recently the iVanti Landesk i have too many old patches ( 1990's ... 2000...2013....2016..2017)

i delete manually the patches from the patch and compliance ==> scan folder but they downloaded again and again

i tried also to deleted them from the local repository but it seems like the same problem

 

is there any to delete them , i want to keep just the 2018 vulnerabilities

We already have an active directory feed.

I am looking to import a bunch of non ad accounts as a one-off, is this possible via CSV? If so, would appreciate if someone can forward me the link.

ISM - Service Requests - Waiting for customer

Hi, we're an on prem customer with a weird issue in Service Requests.

 

On random requests (as far as I can work out) users are receiving the "waiting for more info reminder" when the request isn't and has never been in that status.

 

I've checked escalation schedules and none of the service request ones use that quick action in error.

 

Any suggestions on what I can check to see what kick the action off?

Only seems to work with a Word doc format. Is there anyway of uploading PowerPoint?

Re-open Fulfilled Service Requests in Self Service

Hi,

 

I'm trying to create a button in Self Service that re-opens a Service Request if it is in the Fulfilled state. I have created a Quick action for this, but can't work out how to actually add this into the view.

Dell Optiplex 7060 PXE boot issues.

Hello All,

     We just received two Dell Optiplex 7060 PC's. One full size one mini. We are having issues trying to PXE boot them. I've loaded the correct drivers both in 32bit and 64bit WinPE. Sometimes it will boot and image and sometimes it will not even boot into PXE. We tried both Legacy and UEFI boot.

Any Ideas??????

Deploying Telnet Host Profile Settings to Velocity Clients

We have recently acquired a batch of Zebra WT6000 Android devices which are going to have the Velocity Client app installed and configured on them.

 

Is it possible to configure and deploy a Telnet Host profile to these by creating a TE Host Profile Configuration payload within Avalanche 6.2 or is the only option to obtain and deploy this via the .wldep? Reason for this is that the .wldep will have been created and provided by our supplier, but as this is a static file I imagine we would not be able to make changes to the Host Profile config in the future if required (e.g. in case of IP address change). Being able to configure the Host Profile from Avalanche would remove this problem. In general what would be the recommended method to deploy and manage Telnet host profiles for these devices?

Does anyone have any information on the actual formula used to calculate the Actual SLA Compliance Target?

 

Example:

We have an SLP defined with the following:

  • SLP Target = 90.00%
  • ResponseSLT = 95.00% within this SLP
  • ResolutionSLT = 95.00% within this SLP
  • DeliverySLT = 95.00% within this SLP

 

Let's say we had 100 Incidents resolved and 200 SRs fulfilled since the Start Date of the SLP.

  • 95 of 100 Incidents met their ResponseSLT
  • 75 of 100 Incidents met their ResolutionSLT
  • 170 of 200 SRs met their DeliverySLT

 

I am guessing here, but I imagine the formula would be something like:

((95+75+170) / (100+100+200)) * 100 = 85.00%

Export data from Audit_Task business Object

First of all, I am a ROOKIE.  Just setting expectations.  I am not certain if I tagged the right group.  Please let me know if it is incorrect. 

 

Background: I am trying to export data of actual work done on a task.  That is, the date stamp when a task was logged, assigned, waiting, continued, completed, etc....  It appears that the information I want is in the Business_Task business object based on the fields that are in the business object. 

 

 

Question:  Is there a way to export data from Audit_Task Business Object other than creating a report via SSRS?  I don't have that tool installed so looking for a work-around.  I thought that I could create a Quick Action and then run it as child from Task but I get this message:

Issue locating unmanaged devices

I am trying to locate unmanaged devices so I can push out the Ivanti Agent.

 

I am inputting the IP range and it is picking new unmanaged devices up (see below).

 

However, there is no device name and it is suggesting the OS is Linux (the devices are Windows 10 thin clients) and i cannot push out the Agent.

 

I just wondered if anyone can offer any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Copy attachments when converting service request to incident

We have a quick action that converts a Service Request to Incident.  I've noticed that any attachments in the Service Request are not being copied across to the newly created Incident.

 

I've tried to compare this quick action to one that is working, i.e. attachments are being copied across.

 

Can someone please assist me and advise me where in the quick action this is.  The only thing I could find that MIGHT be the command to copy the attachments across is below, but I could be wrong here.

If we have submitted a self service ticket, there is a language error. We would like to have this adjusted. Where can I find the texts (translations) for the buttons that become visible after an incident has been recorded in service manager?

I looked in Build Business, Objects Business, Object Incident but didn't find the tekst "gemaakt aanvraag weergeven". Where can I find this languige file?

Examples for Incoming Web Service Connections (BETA)

Hello ISM community,

 

Does anyone have an examples or suggestions for creating an incoming web service connection?

 

I've seen the Sample employee script in the admin guide here (https://help.ivanti.com/ht/help/en_US/ISM/2017/Content/Configure/ImportExportData/Using%20Web%20Services.htm#Sample ) but I can't get this sample to execute. I keep getting a Server Error in /InboundWebService Application Room element is missing  [ XML Exception: Root Element is missing. ].

 

I need to provide a 3rd party integration access to create an update a couple business objects. Instead of providing them the entire FRSHEATIntegration.asmx?WSDL API, I thought I could limit and control the scope of their access using Incoming Web Service Connections. Is this a good strategy/use-case for incoming web connections?
