This morning a DNS setting was changed on our mail server and 3 hours worth of outbound messages failed. The 'retry count' was set at 2. I changed it to 3. Is there a way to select those messages to be reprocessed? or Can I use an update command to change 'email faled' to false? is there any way to get these emails out?

I've been trying to import tickets including their ticket numbers so our technicians would be able to locate the old ticket numbers. I get this error from the log.

Why doesn't delivery trigger "reprovisioning" after organizational change work for AD Groups?
I'm running into a problem with the "reprovisioning" delivery trigger for AD Groups. I verified that the reprovision works for non-group Organizational changes, but it inexplicably does not process for AD Groups.
It appears that the feature does not work for organizations populated using the AD connector in the Setup & Sync Tool. I'd like to understand if this limitation is intended or unintended?
My goal is to reprovision a services after any AD group memberships changes.

VHD Cache disk requirements
We are looking at implementing the VHD cache features in EM10.1FR4 or EM2018.1
Is anyone able to advise what kind of disk I/O a VHD cache uses.
Specifically what tier of storage is recommended to support the cache? Will be be able to use regular HDDs to host the user caches or does it need to be SSD?
At this stage we are looking at caching the outlook OST file and the skype address book.

EPM scan data incomplete
Hi All,
I have setup new EPM v11.0.1.102, Data of scanned asset is few.
I have scanned VM, Cisco Router, Fortinet, Workstation through agent agentless, out put is not as required. I want to build CMBD of all my IT asset.
Some has said Agentless scan will give me limited informations of asset.
Please suggest am I missing something.

I've Upgraded from 2016.3 to 2018.3 Service-desk
after this many users report this error when trying to resolve incidents :
"Null value set for attribute Incident of class type IncidentManagement.Resolution. This attribute is mandatory and must contain a non-null value."
if i removed the Data Partitioning from the Group that user belong to , the error not coming and will be able to resolve .
but this was before working normally even with Data Partitioning active .

WinSAT per Service am LogonScreen ausführen
hat jemand Erfahrungen mit dem Ausführen von winsat.exe unter DSM?
Wir installieren unser default Windows 7 Image per OSD und führen danach die Installation der default applications computerbezogen per Service noch an der Anmeldemaske durch (mit NWC BlockLogin Provider). Am Ende der Sequenz läuft ein Finishing Script, das zum Ende der "Basisinstallation" noch einige Konfigurationstasks durchführt, u.a. die Systembewertung. Alle unsere Script laufen computerbezogen als Service.
Die Ausführung von "Winsat.exe formal" schlägt dabei aber immer fehl. Ich habe bereits alle möglichen Ausführungsoptionen über Execute/ExecuteEx/RunasEx/Aufruf über AutoIT etc. durch, bekomme aber von winsat.exe immer einen Error 1 zurückgemeldet. Melde ich mich an und lasse das Script vom AutoInstaller laufen, funktioniert es allerdings und die Systembewertung läuft durch.

Variable "Computer" in einer Benutzerdefinierten Aufgabe einer Policy-Instanz (Client)
Hallo,
im Contextmenü eines Computers gibt es den Punkt "Problembehebung / Protokolldateien anzeigen"
Zu jeder zugewiesenen Software kann man sich unter den Sofware-Policys eine Liste der Policy-Instanzen, also der Computer, aufklappen und anzeigen lassen.
In dem Contextmenü der einzelnen Policy-Instanzen wird kein Punkt "Problembehebung / Protokolldateien anzeigen" angeboten.
Diesen möchte ich per "Benutzerdefinierter Aufgabe" hinzufügen.
Dafür starte ich dann eine Explorer.exe mit dem Parameter "\\%......%\DSMLogs$"
Jetzt fehlt mir die Variable für den Computernamen.
Einige habe ich schon ausprobiert. Z.B.: %CurrentPolicyInstance.PolicyInstanceClient.TargetName%
Also in Anlehnung an die Variablen unter den Eigenschaften "Policy-Instanz (Client)".
Leider bisher ohne Erfolg.
Kann mir da jemand weiterhelfen?

Ivanti ID => Get available / used licenses information directly from SQL database

I have a question regarding the license information of Ivanti Identity Director (formerly RES ID). When using the web interface you can go to "Setup" and then "Licensing" and then you get a nice overview with the following information:
- License edition
- Total licenses
- Used licenses
- Available licenses
I woud like to get this information directory from the database using a SQL query. Does anybody knows where this information is kept within the Ivanti ID database?
We are using version 10.2.0.0 of Ivanti ID

After a License renewal, which was expired for 2 days and then renewal applied. All Newly created DC and AC application whitelisting does not WORK
We had an expired license which was renewed on 31 Dec 2018 5 Pm, so we had an environment with expired license for almost 2 days.
Now ever since the renewal has been completed, all functionalities from HEAT is not working
1. AC - WHITELISTING DOESNT WORK
2. DC- Any USB/DVD requests created doesnt work
3. Agent install/uninstall takes hours
We have an Remote SQL and ODBC connection has been tested and found to be working
We have many error in the Lumension application Server related LM.EDS. exe, Distribution.Scheduler,PLFWWin32 etc

How can I check if these two fields are equal in Ivanti Service Manager and use this to create an expression ?

Recuring ESENT errors in eventlog
Hi,
on one of our Servers we see every 5 minutes recuring ESENT errors in eventlog.
services (484) An attempt to create the file "\\server.tld.org\ldlogon\new.sdb" failed with system error 5 (0x00000005): "Access is denied. ". The create file operation will fail with error -1032 (0xfffffbf8).
services (484) Unable to write a shadowed header for file \\server.tld.org\ldlogon\new.sdb. Error -1032.
services (484) Database recovery/restore failed with unexpected error -1032.
We have uninstalled the landesk agent but no succes. We have no clue whats triggers this error every 5 minutes.
